---Ran---

Morning of the next day, Ran was duty free. She took the time she had for herself to go do some shopping for travel supplies in the village market street and do a trip to the blacksmith. After her last mission, she left her claymore, Crimson, and two katanas shadow whistle with the blacksmith Sandor McCliffpick.

But first is first, I need to get new gear. Can't use my plate armor for intel and my leather gear is overused already. Gotta upgrade anyways. I might be a warrior and an assassin, nut I'm still a girl, love shopping, even if it's for weapons and gear.

Ran needed some basic things too, not just new leather armor. She was never good at keeping her things in good conditions. Her weapons being the only exception, because she took 'em to blacksmith monthly, never missing a day.

After Ran finished getting dressed for the day, she grabbed her coin pouch from her secret chest and locked her door on her way out. She passed the training grounds and some of the guys there waved to her. She waved back and keep going, not wanting to stop for a chat.

The armor shop, where they also sold travel supplies and weapons, was pretty empty, except for some teens doing window shopping. Mr. Vector was at the back polishing a full armor chest plate.

Not really my type of gear. It only hinders my movement, but even I appreciate good craftsmanship. Now back to what I came here for. Hmm where are those medicine?

The inside of the store was compounded of three isle of shelves full of different types of supplies; from medicine pouches and bandages to matches and compass. Ran grabbed a hand full of the medicine and bandages. She already had a compass that one of the castle wizard gave her as her name day gift, one of the few persons that likes her and appreciates what she does. Two boxes of matches and some lenses, incase the matches got wet. She went to another isle to look for personal hygiene things, she needed a new bar of unscented soap.

She learned from her adoptive father that the best assassins always kept themselves clean so to be undetected by the enemy when in hiding. Not many peoples did this so it was easy to hide from them. The guys on her team were taught this by her. The learned the hard way that she was right, since at first they refuted her advise and didn't listen almost getting themselves killed.

Mr. V, thats how Ran calls him, mostly sold unscented soap bar, his clientele being just hunters, travelers, warriors and other assassins. In the same isle there were shirts, trousers and undergarments for both women and men. Nothing decorative was sold in this store, making it Rans favorite. She didn't need frills and lace for the wild. There were socks and some leather boots. But Ran liked hers custom made, so that it was a perfect fit. New shoes always meant blisters, if you bought the common ones that were sold for everyones use, but she could afford the custom made ones.

Ran grabbed two pairs of shirts and trousers. A pair of socks and a hand full of underwear. She then headed to the counter with everything in hand to pay up. Mr. V. was done with the chest plate and had moved on the arm plates, giving some finishing touches to the leather parts.
