I stood up and carried Luffy in my arms back to the others who grinned seeing me. Luffy then Luffy grew back to normal size and I was now falling. Sanji and Zoro caught us both making me giggle again. "Hehe."
We all sat down together in some of the ruins after such a long battle and I had withdrawn all my orders so my wings were back to normal. "That was kind of fun." I admitted as I played with Luffy's hair and he was laying down peacefully on some debris.
"WE ALMOST DIED!" Usopp screamed at me.
"I know, but I did all this with you guys." I explained. "We saved many people to! And took down a dickhead! We created freedom and destroyed the stupid system here!"
I felt so pumped from doing all that. "All of a sudden, I feel totally wiped out." Franky added. "There any cola around here?"
"There is nothing left on this island other than corpses." Sanji retorted.
"Didn't Luffy shrink back there?" Zoro spoke up.
"He did for a second...it seems to be taking less time each time." I explained.
"And your wings?" Sanji asked me.
"Oh, I ordered them to grow." I explained. "...Maybe when I order people, they don't die."
"THEY DIE?! WHY DID YOU ORDER YOURSELF?!" Nami freaked out and I laughed nervously.
"Hehe, my brain went dead when I thought of you guys burning and disappearing." I explained.
"You both are to tough on yourselves with your fighting styles, don't get used to doing that." Usopp scolded me.
"But it really only gave me a little pain." I objected.
"A little to you is a lot to me...I'm worried..." Usopp admitted and I saw how upset he looked. "If the enemies waiting ahead of us only continue to get stronger, he's gonna keep pushing himself, and you are just gonna sacrifice yourself like Moria said! We need to pull our own weight better."
"You are right." Nami agreed as I really had nothing to argue seeing how resolved they are.
"Oh, old guy." I looked at him as I saw from one of my wings he was walking over to us.
"Zombie!" Usopp screamed.
"No, I'm a severely injured old man." He informed him.
"That's confusing just be a zombie!" Usopp complained.
"Do you like the sunlight?" I grinned at him.
"I do! I really can't believe it! Thank you! How can I ever repay you?" He asked us.
"Meat, Luffy wants some." I answered.
"You need to ask for a better reward." Usopp and Nami scolded me.
"But you guys didn't ask one from me." I mumbled.
"You are different." Nearly all of them answered with that.
"You are the reward." Robin added and I blushed a little.
