GUESS WHO'S BAAAAAAACK??? I missed writing this story so much, so I decided to start writing again!! The next few chapters probably aren't the best, but I hope you guys enjoy them :)

It's been three months since Delilah and Brent's roadtrip, and things between them haven't been going so well.

When he took Her to meet his Mom, she wasn't impressed with Delilah at all. She preferred his ex, Monica, over Delilah, which Brent wasn't happy about one bit. Brent and Delilah weren't really speaking on the way home from their trip, and when they did it was only a few words, never full sentences.

'Hey', 'Sorry', 'No', 'Stop', 'Bye', and 'Whatever' were all they said to each other.

Delilah barely comes out of her room when she isn't working or at school.

When she comes home from work, she gets something from the kitchen and goes to her room, only coming out for a few minutes in the middle of the night and early in the morning to go to school.

David has noticed, but hasn't mentioned it to her. Delilah has fallen into a depression, and the one person she needs isn't there. Brent has been ignoring her calls, texts, even ignoring her when she comes by his house to see if he'll talk to her there. He's aware of her doing these things, but he simply doesn't care. He stopped caring about her long ago.

David has started to stay at the house with Delilah while Lilith is at school or work, just so he'll be there if she needs him. He drug one of the spare mattresses down to the living room so he can hear if Delilah gets up to get something to drink in the middle of the night.

He wakes up an hour before she does to make breakfast for her, which she always eats. Even though she doesn't really speak, her actions, body language and facial expressions say everything.

She'll say something every now and then, her voice hollow and emotionless. Her once bright eyes are now dull, dark circles surrounding them.

Delilah hasn't listened to Crown The Empire since her and Brent's trip, and she doesn't know if she'll ever be able to listen to the songs without thinking about him.

Delilah'd always heard of people talking about a broken heart, how it feels like a sinking feeling in your chest, a deep ache that no medication can help. The sleepless nights, the desperate longing for the person, even the stupid love song playlists. She always thought people were exaggerating, but now she knows.

Her heart is broken.
