As Carrie and Enzo walked into Cody's room, they saw something that scarred them for life. Cody James's body near his bed, sliced vertically. "Cody... No, he-he can't be dead, he just can't..!", Carrie said, tearing up as she saw her own brother, dead in front of her eyes. "Oh, oh Carrie...", Enzo replied, as he watched his wife mourn Cody. Emile noticed the two and walked over to check out the problem, which was not a good idea for someone like him. "Hey you two! What's going on over here- oh. That's not good.", he said walking by before looking inside the room. Carrie, on the other hand, was crying her lungs out. "WHY?! WHY DID IT HAVE TO BE HIM AND NOT ME?!" ...That sounds like she was begging to be in Cody's place. Why? Why would she want to be in his current status? "Carrie, Carrie, it'll be okay- we'll find out who did it, I swear we will.", Emile said, trying to calm her down. But she was still crying and didn't hear a damn word he said. Or did she and is just ignoring him because she's trying to find a coping mechanism and that mechanism is shutting everyone out? Whichever one it is, she clearly isn't wanting to talk. Enzo looked at Emile before looking back at Carrie and saying, "C'mon l'amour, let's get you out of here." Carrie was still crying over Cody. She cared for him, and he cared for her. After a few, she finally got up and left with Enzo, who was hugging her to try and comfort her as much as possible. This was when Enzo got an idea. "Hey, how about you go to see Hugo and tell him about this, okay?" He knew that when Enzo wasn't around and Carrie was on the verge of a panic attack or mental breakdown, she'd head to Hugo. "O-okay...", she replied, sniffling a bit right after and going off to him. After the trial, no one had seen Carrie anywhere, not even Hugo or Enzo. It was concerning that she wasn't anywhere in the PD anymore, but the news that came out about an empty bottle of pills and an empty bottle of alcohol found in the same room. This ended up causing Hugo, Emile, Enzo, Nadia, and everyone else at the PD to realize that she might've ended up killing herself because she couldn't deal with the fact her brother was dead. While they were on their breaks, Enzo, Emile, and Hugo all agreed to search for Carrie, going in separate ways to see if they could find her or at least a note she wrote. The search wasn't going well until it started to become worse. "EMILE! ENZO!", Hugo shouted, signaling that he found something, and it was something that all three of them would've never wanted to see. What did they find? Carrie, lying there in her room, with a note on the desk beside her. "CARRIE?!", both Emile and Enzo shouted at the same time. Enzo started to grab Carrie's body and begged her to get up while Emile was reading the note. That was when Emile had noticed that every single part of the note, Carrie was apologizing to someone or some duo or group of people. After the trial, Enzo pretty much didn't sleep at all that night, and neither did Hugo or Emile.
