Chapter 9: Fate

The following week was the saddest within the Kingdom of Solisian. Many from the guardian planets came to attend the funeral of prince Solaris. Both kings and queens gathered at the temple that would be dedicated to Solaris. Dius and his other siblings were all there dressed appropriately as well as his friends from Earth and there family. As the coffin was taken down center isle many of the other guardians who were not dragged into the fight watched on. Julia had recovered and explained to everyone how when she went to track down Shinrai during the war she was captured and infused with the Chaos crystal. Since she was no longer bound to it she was free again and vowed to help as best as she could. During the funeral some of them had to try very hard to contain there anger and many blamed themselves for not helping when they could. Dius was the most heart broken at the death of her brother, she stood by her parents crying and clenched tightly on the crystal that helped them get to the library before. Time passed and at the end of the funeral everyone agreed that it was not over yet, they were no facing there toughest challenge yet. A monster as powerful as the creator of all things was now there enemy and even though it was quiet in there dimension they knew it would be short lived." And as there resolve was etched into there hearts they prepared for the battle to come." Omni said as the images in the dimensional window faded to black. Luna watched and wiped her face as she realized Solaris fate. " Isn't there anything we can do, I mean if you know whats going to happen can't we change it." Luna said pointing to the blacken window. Omni shook his head and poured his energy into a spiral mass which grew with light and became a galaxy. "I have tried many times to find a solution but it all ends the same way Luna. I can not see beyond this point every time and the results are always the same." Omni said with a sadden look on his. He wanted to change the future but there fate was always unchanged. The only thing he found interesting was that at one point within all the possibilities, he could not tell what Solaris was up to. It was always black for a moment then he would return as if he had gone outside time itself. With Solaris last words in his heart Omni refused to lose hope and placed his faith on those left behind that would carry on Solaris will.
