{ Kris' POV }

I laid in my bed, staring at the ceiling.

"I'm so damn bored," I sighed.

"Can't we go to the lake or something?" Jupiter said over the phone.

"Can't, it's a Saturday. She's either gonna drag me to school to clean with her, or make me stay inside," I grumbled. "Damn, you can't just sneak out?" she chuckled.

"Jupes, your parents never pay attention to you," I slowly got up.

"Yeah yeah, whatever. Was thinking we could volunteer at your dad's so we could deliver flowers again. Could use some pocket change..." she suggested.

"My mom would HATE it if I ditched school to go to my dad's..."

"I'm in."

"Ah, YAY!! Maybe you'll see your little crush while you're out toooo,~" she teased.

My face heated up instantly just thinking of her.

"S-shut up Jupes... I'll meet you there," I stuttered, hanging up.

I walked over to my wardrobe, picking out my usual outfit.

My grey button-up, my oversized marigold cardigan, my long dark brown pants, and my white and red sneakers with the heart on each side. Normally I add my lesbian pin and but I'm not ready to break that news to my dad yet, so I didn't. Jupiter helped me stitch the heart and light brown pocket into my pants. Man is she an amazing friend.

Jupes hasn't lived in Hometown long but has already grown onto me. They're my best friend. Nothing I think about or know she doesn't know. And I mean she knows EVERYTHING.

I put my hair in a low pony with my white ribbon and walked out my roo-

Kris, you left your journal out.

...What?

Your "special" journal? Still on your desk! Ooh, it's open too! Imagine what your mom would do if she found it.

I quickly back-pedaled into my room.

There it was.

I sped towards it, scanning all of the entries and drawings that were in it.

Nobody can see this.

I quickly shut it and locked it, chucking it under my bed, and making sure it was secure before actually leaving this time.

Nobody can know my plans.

My dad's flower shop wasn't far. Top of the town, right next to the lake? Hard to miss. I looked both ways before stepping out but stopped in my tracks when I heard a gate creak open.

"Oh, hey Kris!" a tender voice squealed.

Noelle. We had a closer friendship when Asriel and Dess were still here and we were younger but now?

I only hang out with Jupes and Susie.

I was too caught up in my thoughts to respond so she slowly came closer.

"Helllooo..? Kris..?" she said. "Noelle," I addressed her. "Oh, so you are there, haha! I'm just supposed to helping my mom in the office.. nothing speciall... So.. what're you doing today? Aren't you supposed to be heading to school with your mom?" she asked. "Not going today. Jupes wanted me to help them deliver flowers instead," I replied bluntly.
