My heart was racing, my mind was fuzzy. Too many things were going on at once, this was just adding onto all my worries and problems.

Oliver, Harrison and Alexa all rushed out their rooms. They were armed with guns and knives, running downstairs to see what was going on while Lucifer and I stood there.

"I need you to go in my room and lock yourself in there." he instantly said as they left our vision.

"Let me hel—"

"Go." he interrupted, pointing over to his room.

"Please?"

"I said go, don't make me repeat myself again." he threatened.

"Let me help!" I shouted out.

He grabbed my arm and dragged me over to his room, shoving us both inside before locking the door. He ran his hands through his hair and let out a frustrated sigh, looking at me.

"You will stay here and you will not move from this room until I come back in and give you permission to leave, understand?" he demanded, walking over to his closet.

"Why won't you just let me help?" I asked, following him.

I watched as he pulled out some sort of safe, moving the padlock knob left to right in a pattern. He took of the lock and reached inside the safe. He pulled out a gun and a really cool looking knife.

He shoved them in their holders and pushed me out the closet, closing the door as he grabbed me dragged me over to the bed. He shoved me down and grabbed my face to look at him.

"Stay."

"But—"

"Do you want them to kill you?" he asked.

I shook my head, "No, b—"

"Then stay."

He let go of my face and ran over to the door, unlocking it. I watched as he ran out and shut the door behind him, the sounds of more gunshots following a few seconds later.

I wanted to stop him so badly, but I knew this was just part of his job. He didn't want me to get hurt, but I didn't want him to get hurt either. I knew he could protect himself but I still couldn't stand the thought of everything.

Minutes passed as I paced around the room in worry. I flinched every time a gunshot was fired and crashing of furniture was heard. It didn't take a genius to figure out who could have possibly attacked us here.

I knew who it was, I knew what he had wanted, and I had to give it to him. I couldn't, I refused to hurt the only thing I loved.

'Like hell if you think for a second I'm staying.'

I got up from the bed ran over to his closet, moving around all the clothing. I found the safe he had taken out not to long ago and looked down at the lock. Lucky for me, I had watched and memorized the way he had unlocked this.

I turned the knob around like I saw him do and got it open, looking down at the contents inside. There were a bunch of blades and guns, all in a pretty small size but I just knew how deadly they were.

I took the first gun and blade that I saw, locking it back up and pushing it into its original spot.

If I'm being honest, I didn't know how to use a gun very well, but I was very good at using blades.

Always came in handy during the one-night-stands if I was threatened.

I walked out the closet and closed the door, walking over to the room door. I stopped when I heard my phone buzz. I turned around and ran over to it quickly, trying to see who it was.
