Author's POV

"Tayi ammi hurry up na, I am gonna surprise Taimur. He is gonna be so elated", said the sweet 19 year old Abiha. Her Tayi ammi Tooba shook her head smiling at her impatience, she knew that Abiha loved Taimur more than anyone. She was sometimes scared for how much she depended and trusted her son, how easily she would forgive Taimur for his mistake, how she could never be angry with him for more than an hour.

Tooba was the most loving soul. Even though Abiha wasn't her own, she always treated her like her daughter. After Arham and Aisha's death in a car accident four years ago, Tooba basically raised her. Not only Tooba but also Maryam who was Abiha's Choti Ammi. These two ladies were the mother figure in Abiha's life. They gave her the support and love she needed while growing up.

Finally after preparing the cake Abiha has been begging for,  she gave it to her after packing it properly.

Abiha immediately took the package cake and gave a loving kiss to her Tayi Ammi's cheek and practically ran out not before repeating the same with her Choti Ammi who was sitting in the hall.

"Let's go Khalid chachu( uncle)" , she said to their family driver who was also very close to them. Abiha was getting giddy and why won't she after she knew how happy Taimur's gonna be from the news of finally becoming the CEO. Her Taya Abbu declared it in the morning and Abiha literally begged him to let her be one to disclose this news to her Taimur.

Taimur and Abiha got engaged a year ago when she was 18 and was the happiest girl at that time. Taimur was her childhood crush and after her parents dead she became even more close to him. He always looked after her when she wasn't well, he would tell her all sorts of fantasy until she fell asleep. He would always protect her from others  and would scold her cousin for fighting with her. She loved him more than she ever loved anybody.

These few months Taimur had gone distinct from her but she knew it was because of the work load her Taya Abbu had given him.

As soon as the car came to a halt, she practically ran out and went inside the lift, tapping her foot impatiently.

"Supri... se... ! ", the big smile quickly vanished instead her heart started aching. She felt tears build in her eyes but refused to shed. The suprise turned into a shock for her.

In front of her was Taimur with a girl on his lap. They quickly parted away as soon as the door was busted open. There chest rising and falling rapidly, lips swollen, appearance dishieved.

Abiha felt her heart break. She knew he didn't loved her but she always thought he would after their marriage but now that thought felt ridiculous.

"Abiha I can explain", said Taimur

" So this is the girl your father's forcing  you to get married to" , said the other girl. To which Abiha stilled.

Was it true? Did Taya Abbu really force him for our marriage? Did Tayi ammi also knew about this? So many thoughts started running in her mind.

"Am sorry for disturbing you both, congratulations for becoming the CEO" , Abiha said giving a fake smile. She didn't wait for his reply.

She rushed outside, the room was suffocating her, she went back home. As soon as she spotted her Tayi ammi she asked the question that had been bugging her "Did you know that Taimur was being forced to marry me by Taya abbu ?", she asked loud enough for everyone to hear. The hallroom became silent. Her Tayi ammi could not form any words while others were shocked.
