Ophelia, as mysterious as she remain, she's a seemingly normal girl to the everyday, passing eye, oh how far from the truth that really was.
She found herself napping on a soft pile of moss in the forest she was so fond of. In the distance, she heard the playful laughter of the foxes in the field not too far from her. The sun was bright, shining just above her eyes, causing her wake to fasten.
She sat up, groaning as she took a deep stretch, looking about for her beloved pup, who was found not fear beside her, curled up and napping alongside her. This dog, her dear Cerberus, was her best and only remaining friend, and always brought a smile to her pale face.
She gave the not-so pup a decent head scratch to wake him before she stood up herself and admired her surroundings in the forest. Most would be nervous to be so far in the woods alone, but she knew these trees as if the map were the palm of her own hand. She enjoyed the silence of the wind, nothing but the creatures that lay within could be heard, just as she liked it. However, her peace would be short lived as she prepared herself for town, not that she was far, or that the townsfolk were against her, she'd just rather not deal with the ever so dreading questions about her as they all wanted to be nosey, but not even she knew how she'd tell her story.
"Well, we better be off before it gets dark."
Ophelia spoke, to her dog of course, who was now more than awake and by her side, as loyal as loyal could get, that Cerberus was! She laughed silently, sounded more of a lighthearted scoff than a laugh if you ask me, but, nonetheless she brushed off her rather oversized leather coat and swung it over her shoulders, though it fell off her petite frame. She dug through her pocket for a moment and brought out a clear cigarette case and a matching lighter, placing the stick to her lips and lit the end, the flame brought a light glow to her snow white skin, her eyes were sunken in, as if she hadn't slept in weeks, even if she had just slept. Once the cigarette was properly lit, she took a long drag, exhaling it shortly after as her feet began moving in the direction of town. Cerberus right by her side, no leash was needed for this trained pup, just a thick, yet light, chain around his neck that made little to no noise as he walked beside his owner. You'd think the two had a soul bond to each other.
As they continued trudging along to town, they could hear the creatures of the forest around them, doing their own thing. The forest itself has recognized Ophelia at this point, and more than welcomed her beyond this point, sure, they've had their quarrels, when she was 'younger', but they've grown past that. She's learned respect and made her amends with the life of the forest, even repaired any damage she's done in her stupid, wrathful youth, and in return for her maturity, the forest grants her provision and as much protection as it can offer.
Now, at this point in their walk, they can start to see the city's lights in the far distance, Ophelia's cigarette was far passed gone, but she held onto the ass-end as she despised littering. And so, the pale-skinned woman and all black doberman continued with the intention of getting what they need and getting the fuck out of there, nothing against the folks of the town, Ophelia is just an anxious girl and doesn't enjoy much company nor small talk, which most seem very fond of. As the pup and girl found themselves at the city's gate, they braced themselves and took their first step into the city.
