Part 5 - Not what we expected

Black Hat, Flug and James had long ago left the old science lab and had been walking for about half an hour. James had started complain about a few minutes ago, acting like a child and exclaiming, 'are we there yet?', every once in a while.

At this point Flug had managed to drown out James's voice and in his mind he could only here the rushing wind and police cars in the distance. They seemed to be in an almost abandoned city, except it wasn't abandoned. Down what almost seemed like every alley was a group of homeless people around a fire and scary looking men sitting on walls while glancing over at Black Hat every now and then.

It wasn't even hot outside and Flug had broke into a sweat, beyond that he didn't know what time it was, his phone had died and James's phone broke a few days ago due to an explosion in his office.
While thinking Flug suddenly heard Black Hat say.

"We are here."

Flug got a sudden burst of adrenaline so he looked up only for his mouth to immediately turn to a frown. In front of him was an underground metro station. Flug looked at the station entrance, than at James, who seemed to have the same confused face as Flug, then back at Black Hat who was grinning widely.

"Uh, is this how we get to your office building?"

Black Hat suddenly turned to Flug with serious eyes, his face turning to a look Flug couldn't quite make out between annoyance or pitty.

"This IS my place of work."

Black Hat began to have a beaming smile once more, as if metaphorically forgiving the scientist for his mistake.

"NO!!!"

A yell erupted the street. Flug and James turned around to see a scrawny looking man running towards with the rest of his energy keeping him alive.

"NO, STOP! DON'T FOLLOW HIM! DON-"

Neither of the men had enough time to hear the rest of the man's pleads as a harsh force grabbed their shoulders and dragged them down into the metro station. As they where absorbed into the dark underground, they could hear the man banging on the now closed metal door.

"STOP! HE'S EVIL, THAT MAN IS EVIL. YOU'RE GOING TO DIE IN THERE!"
