Konig POV:

The car ride to the strip club was very stressful, to say the least. It was rush hour and traffic was crazy. Price was furiously trying to contact Y/n with his phone, eventually giving up as he inhale his cigar. No one dared to light up the mood, not even Soap.

In around 20 mins, we finally dropped near the club and got in our position.

I and Ghost were on the rooftop of the building next to the club, we count 6 armed guards at the front entrance, 2 snipers on the rooftop, and 3 limos circling the area. This place was jammed pack for sure, finding Y/n isn't going to be easy.

Wait, Y/n? I meant Viktor... That's right, I meant him. He's our main focus right now, Price said he will deal with Y/n. However, I can't help but feel this tightness of concern in my chest when I think of her.

Y/n POV:

As Viktor guided me into the bedroom, I instantly looked for escape routes. There was a window but a 3-story fell will leave some nasty marks. There was a vent above the chair, I can probably use that.

"Come on, don't be so shy. The party is just  getting started." Viktor's words begin to slur as he locked the bedroom door and starts to unbutton his shirt. I shivered as he took each step closer.

I stopped him as he try to go in for a kiss. "How about I treat you instead, you are the birthday boy, right?"

Viktor gave me a wide smile as he lay on the bed ready for me to make a move, which I did.

I took my knife out on him and pinned him to bed, gagging his mouth with his shirt so he wouldn't make a sound. Watching that egotistic arrogant behavior shrivel into nothing but a scared cat was the only highlight of this miserable night.

I pulled out the photo of Leonid and started questioning him.

"Your brother... Where. Is. He?"

"P-Please just don't hurt me."
"I won't if you give me what I want" I put the knife closer to his neck til tiny droplets of blood started to form.

"Look I- I don't know where he is. The bastard and I stopped talking about 2 months ago." I threatened to push the blade deeper.

"Ah! I'm telling the truth but I do know he has a hideout warehouse...i-in Paris, France. It's where he and his friends hang out and do business work. I only visit it one time. Please you have to believe me!"

I stopped for a moment, processing all the info. I didn't register Viktor grabbing a stun gun out of his pocket and tasing me. He took the opportunity to kick me off the bed and run out of the room.

Shit. I was careless. I ran after him, he was calling for his guards. As he ran down the stairs, I aimed my knife and threw it, hitting the back of his leg. He tumbled down the stairs as I caught up with him. The bastard still had some fight in him as he tried to kick away with his good leg.

I stomped on his leg wound, causing Viktor to scream in pain. Grabbing him in a chokehold.

"When you meet your brother in hell, ask him about the L/n Family," I growled in his ear and swiftly broke his neck.

My mind was nothing but a blank. I wasn't fazed by any of my senses, not even by the worker who screamed bloody murder as she saw me standing above Viktor's dead body.

As my heartbeat slows, I gained mental control again and became aware of the situation. The lady who witnessed the murder was already long gone. I ran downstairs, hid in the crowd, and got into the same bathroom as before.

I opened the vent to grab my bag. I think I was home free until I heard an uproar crowd and some gunshots.

That must mean the 141 crew is here. I know I'm in a shit load of trouble

Exiting the bathroom, I saw that the emergency was on the other side of the club so I took the nearby emergency stairs. The lower level was a messy shot so I can try to make me escape from the rooftop.

After a few run-ins with some of Viktor's guards, I made it to the rooftop but there were still more guards after me. I saw that the rooftop next to me was much closer, I was confident I could make a jump, there was no time to debate.

Konig POV:

The shootout on the low ground was initiated. After Ghost and I already took care of the snipers, he went down to help Price and the others while I stay and keep an eye out if Viktor tries to escape from above.

My attention was turned when I saw a figure jump from the Club's rooftop to mine. I couldn't make out who it was due to no lights but it appeared to be a woman wearing a mask.

Not taking any risks, I got out of my hiding spot and tackled her to the ground when she got close to me.

"Who are you?!" I questioned as I took off her mask.

My face was beyond shocked when I saw it was... Y/n? I quickly got off her, taking the moment to view her outfit.

"What the fuck are you wearing?!" my hands shield my eyes as I scolded her.

"I did have time to change back into my clothes, alright!" she hissed back. " This night is already a disaster, I don't need to be reprimanded."

"Oh yeah? Imagine how much trouble you'll be in when we meet up with Price and the others." I threw her ear communicator to her boots.

She was silent, caught red-handed. Her mouth opens to say something but was cut off by a gunshot that nearly hit us. Three Russian guards were on the club's rooftop and jumped across to where we were at.

"Y/n, C'mon!” We booked it across the roof as I shot back at them. The buildings were built close together so we jumped from roof to roof, hoping to the guards.

Y/n made the 3rd jump and then I followed. Unlucky for me, I lost my footing a bit and almost fell off. As I tried to pull myself up, a hand reach out to grab mine, Y/n's hand. Her expression was unreadable, I was almost certain she would have left me for dead. I grabbed her hand and we continue running.

However, there was no other rooftop nearby to jump across. We were almost out of ammo and the number of guards chasing us doubled. I looked from the building to see that there was a river bank below.

"We have to jump, it's our only option."

Y/n looked down to see the massive body of water.

"N-No way...you're insane." Her voice got a little shaky. Was she afraid?

"Well, would you like to fight off the guards with only 5 bullets? It's now or never, Y/n."

"I'm...not a confident swimmer, ok?" she nearly blurts out at the end.

You have to be kidding me... A CIA-level assassin can't SWIM? This is gonna be the butt of the joke once we get back to others.

As much as I would tease her right now, the guards were catching up. There was no time to waste, so I grabbed Y/n and carry her on my shoulder.

"W-what...WHAT THE FUCK ARE YOU DOING!" she kicked her legs in an attempt to escape my grasp.

"Hold your breath," I instructed her

"KONIG NO!" Y/n screamed as we leaped off the roof and into the deep blue water...
