A Little Miracle

Part 1

This story is really close to my heart. I am very proud of it and this is the only story I've worked so hard on. ENJOY!!

"Ranveer...I don't feel well"

"What's wrong baby?"

She had just arrived home. He was still on set even though it was past midnight. She had just taken a shower and immediately thought of calling him. She was fine this morning but as the day went on, she started feeling a bit sick.

"Tum kab aao gayee?"

She was missing him. He came home late last night and she had to leave early in the morning. She didn't get a chance to kiss him goodbye and felt bad.

"I don't know babe, tell me kya hua?"

"I feel sick"

"I'll try to finish soon as possible, you try to get some rest."

It was 2 in the morning and she couldn't sleep. She had just threw up twice in the past hour and it was getting too much to handle. He still wasn't home. She really needed him now. A moment without him was becoming unbearable.

She ended up scrolling through the pictures in her phone. Ahh so many wonderful memories.

Their relationship has evolved so much. Through all their highs and lows, they have been there for each other.

To what they thought was just a great friendship. They grew so close and protective of one another that staying apart was painful. And now here they are married and happy as ever.

"Deepu, wake up baby."

She slowly opened her big eyes. She was so happy to see him. She quickly wrapped her arms around him. He was confused, why was she so upset? it really worried him to see her like this.

"What's wrong baby?"

"I feel sick..."

"Did you eat something bad?"

"I don't know"

He thought. It was too late to go to the doctor and he didn't want to disturb their teams. They had been working very hard and it would be unfair to wake them up so early.

"Deepu is it that bad or can you wait?"

He didn't want her to wait and be in pain. If it was serious then they should go now.

"It's fine, I'm okay"

"Are you sure?"

She nodded and he pecked her forehead. They cuddled together slowly falling asleep.

-Next Day-

She woke up before him, as usual. She got up stretching and made a run for it. That made her feel even worse.

She thought about trying to figure out what was wrong with her. Then it hit her. She thought for a second and it made sense. She could be wrong, but you never know. The thought made her smile. They've discussed it before. If it happens, it happens. No more trying to avoid it.

"Well good morning, my love"

It was the best thing to wake up and see her beautiful smile the first thing in the morning.

"How are you feeling?" he asked as his arms found their way around her waist.

"Better" she replied.

"Well we should go to the doctor"

"No! I mean I feel good, it's really not needed"

He gave her an unconvinced look. Seeing her in that condition last night, he was sure she wasn't fine. Did she really think it wasn't important?

"Come on, we have to go to the doctor."

She knew she would have to go, but wanted to go alone.

"It's your only free day, you should relax. I can go alone."

"But..."

"It's fine, please?" She insisted

He agreed only because he wanted to do something special for her. They haven't gotten much time for each other lately. He didn't like this one bit. 'Today should be special' he thought. So he came up with the idea of cooking for her. Besides, she loved for him to cook. It was a treat to see the Chef Bhavnani side of him.

She quickly go ready. She had butterflies in her stomach. Who knows what can happen. She had no clue on what what to expect. Their lives can change a lot or maybe not. It only made her more nervous yet a little excited. Maybe somewhere deep down, she knew.

"Call me once you're done.

They kissed bye and she was out the door.
