aliro watched anina shout in pain as the flame start to spread around her. he watched while her pale flawless skin starts to peel off from her flesh. aliro's eyes were in mixed emotions. sadness was vastly transparent in his eyes and behind those eyes of despair was a hint of anger and vengeance. for his self and for everyone in that village. he was raging and the only one he didn't loath in that moment was his dear anina. aliro is still trying to free himself from the hold of whoever arms were trying to lock him up preventing him from running. even if how hard he tried. he pushed and he pushed but they were too many for one man who's in weak state. not even his anger can take away the weakness that was flushed in his body the moment he saw his anina tied up in the stake. the only hope he have was anina's screams. as long as he was still hearing the pain in her screams it meant she was still alive. he have few minutes, he say to himself. he tried again. he pushed harder and harder. and this time he broke free. he run as fast as he could to take a bucket of water. no one touched him. no one interfered anymore. they let him do what he pleases. because the moment he reached the stake. everything was quiet. and the only thing that was making noise was the sound of the burning wood. there were no screams anymore. "anina?" he called. "anina?" she didn't answer.
