Powers, in our world they have become a part of everyday life. Your power is more than just a tool it is a reflection of who you are.
There are different types of powers but no one's power is exactly the same, it takes different forms, everyones is unique. Powers are used in different ways. the three main ones are:
Spells: Conjuring up power from within using it purely relying heavily on concentration to keep it from falling apart
Forges: Embedding your element into a weapon or piece of armor for it to be used quickly and with out heavy concentration. Better for the more physical users
Releases: Dangerous method of power use, when the user lets the power out freely without restraint. Anyone who has not mastered their power and tries this endangers themselves and others around them. Release is unique to the user and can do a variety of unpredictable things each more devastating then the last
