silent treatment part 2

Wednesday pov

it's been 12 hour and she's still not talking to me, just how long you're doing this silent treatment Enid....
I hate that it's so quiet in this dorm,what.
What is happening to me? Snap out Wednesday.

"okay, we're really doing this right?" I yelled at Enid who's now listening songs on her headphone,I reckon it's one of the songs from that boy band group called seventeen.

"fine,let's see how long you last Enid." I grab the door knob and slammed it hard. it's just a small matter,why do you even don't wanna talk to me for hours.

I shake my head and try to brush off my feelings,I need to see Xavier weird hut right now. He seems off lately and always go into that hut in the middle of the night.

Once I reach the hut I quickly enter inside,hopefully Xavier won't see me. I shake off some dirt on my boots by wiggling my feet around,ugh so many dry leaves outside.

I struggle to find switch to the lamp since it's too dark in here,I can't see shit.
Finally,found the switch which is a string connected to the electrical circuit.

the sepia light slowly revealing the whole room, I'm pretty shocked to see Xavier paintings,it's a Hyde painting.
Xavier I knew it,it was you all along this time.

"Thing watch the door I'm gonna collect some evidence okay?" I quickly check the whole room and grab some painting's on the wall,this is a good painting but I really need this to convince that damn sheriff.

"Alright I think we're done,thing can yo-" before I got to finished my sentence I get a pretty hard hit on the back of my head,last thing I remember before closing my eyes is a male voice whispering something but I can't figure out what it is.

Enid pov

I take my headphones off as soon as Wednesday leaves the room. Damn she's mad isn't she. I'll survive the day too Wednesday, I'm very okay even if I don't talk to you.
am I?

My phone rang breaking my thoughts away,I grab my phone on the desk and stare at the id caller. it's Wednesday,well that was quick.

"looks like I win huh?" just as I was about to chuckle I hear a faint sound of someone groaning in the background.

"hey hello? hear me out first, I'm not Wednesday" a male voice? who's this? Wednesday boyfriend?
"no shit you don't even sound like her bro" I rolled my eyes,istg if this is her boyfriend I'm gonna combust.
Wait,why do I care? stop it Enid,Jesus.

"Wednesday is at hospital right now,she just finished her surgery on her head,now don't freak out please" the man takes a deep breath then adds,"she's fine,she's sleeping now. I figured to call you since your number is on her emergency contact"

that's sweet of her but I'm more focused on her condition right now.
"okay give me 20 minutes." I end the call. and ran to my closet,oh my god Weds what happened to you... it's only been few hours.

Location: Hospital

I ran quickly after I got off from the bus,the only thing on mind right now is Wednesday,I hope she's fine..

"Hey miss can I know where Wednesday Addams is?" I gently ask the nurse on the counter and she stops before answering at me after looking through her computer.

"Before I tell you where she is may I know what's your relationship with the patient?" uh if I say friend's she wouldn't let me in easily wouldn't she?

"I'm her uh..girlfriend,yeah I'm her girlfriend" I closed my eyes for a moment,that was a stupid lie I've ever made.

I open my eyes again and look at the nurse,she nodded and ask the other nurse to lead me into Wednesday room.

After few minutes of walking and taking the elevator,we both arrived at the room called '869 individual room'.

The nurse open the door and called Wednesday,"Ms Addams? your girlfriend is here to visit you."

My eyes widened in shocked,that's true what people say after all this time that lying comes with consequences.

I slap my own forehead and keep cursing to myself. The nurse tapped me on my shoulder and signed that she have to leave,I nodded and thanked her immediately.

After the nurse gone I look at Wednesday,oh god she looks bad.
The bandage on her head and few scratches on her face.

"Girlfriend?" Wednesday raise her left eyebrows,I forced a laugh and rub my neck.

"I had to,otherwise they wouldn't let me see you" I smile awkwardly,hoping Wednesday didn't think that I self claimed that I'm her girlfriend,not like I like her or something..
yeah...

"I see,now you can talk to me?" she stare at me,her gaze softened. I sighed and take a seat beside her bed.

"Yeah whatever" I clicked my tongue and look around her,there's big machine beside her,is she having cancer or what? I've seen those in drama's.

"Are you okay?" I frown my eyebrows at her in worries,I hope nothing serious.

"it's fine this machine is just to watch how my brain is doing,I'm having a little concussion that's it" she fixes her position to lay down more comfortably, "not like I'm gonna die even if that's what I really want" she stare at me again.

"don't say that,you still have tons of things to do and I'm not going to allow you to die first" I cross my arm and lay my back on the chair.

I hear Wednesday chuckles "you're not mad at me anymore" she turned her head to the left to face me.

"I guess.."

"look, I'm-" she takes a deep breath before finishing her sentence, "I'm sorry for pulling you into my problem and not listening to you most of the times" her tone turning soft,not like the usual toneless one.

"it's okay,I forgive you" I smile widely at her, "all that matters now is you're still alive and I'm glad you're here" I reach out for her hands and hold it while smiling at her.

"I'm glad too I guess.." she didn't hold my hands back but didn't pull away either.

Someone's pov

"just wait Wednesday...you'll see what's coming sooner or later.." I tighten my jaw and walk away from the hospital with Wednesday time stopper on my hands.
