Maggie was sitting at her desk. Her father hadn't returned from the bar yet and she was thankful. She could hide her homework before he tore it up shreds.
Ever since her mother had died of cancer home just hasn't been the same. Her dad isn't the same loving sweet and caring father that he used to be. She always hid the scars and bruises both she and her father made on herself.
The only one that knew about it was her boyfriend, Harrison. He was her only reason for living. Speaking of Harrison!!
*maggies phone started buzzing it was a text from harrison*
H: hey baby! Is your dad home yet?
M: no not yet... Will you come pick me up?
H: look out your window!
Maggie saw Harrison in his car in her driveway. She instantly smiled. Getting the things she
had packed last night she left.

Hey babe I missed you!!! He smiled at me. I love his smile. I love him. He just stared into my eyes. It made me feel special! "Well let's get going!"I said as I took his hand in mine.
