Cover Image: It's a little simple but effective. Looks intriguing. The title does get a little lost in the image however.

Title: Very intriguing

Blurb/Synopsis: A little confusion at first, there seems to be a lot going on. However, overall it seems to be an interesting concept and leaves me wanting to learn more about the story.

First Paragraph: Awesome first paragraph. Well-written and gives a sense of tone. Definitely wanted to keep reading from there.

Chapter 1: Richard, Long for Dick

Characters: 5/5

Writing: 5/5

Storyline: 4/5

Engagement: 5/5

Very intriguing and engaging personification of a black hole. There is a lot going on right from the beginning, and at times it was a little bit difficult to keep up with everything. But overall, it's a very good beginning and leaves me wanting to keep reading.

Chapter 2: Mocking and Pity

Characters: 5/5

Writing: 5/5

Storyline: 3/5

Engagement: 4/5

Very good outline of a new character, and there is a clear difference in tone from the first chapter's character. The writing is descriptive and while the story does not move forward very quickly, the introduction of Lyeasrakardsul is still captivating and creates interest.

Chapter 3: The Rule of Rules

Characters: 4/5

Writing: 5/5

Storyline: 4/5

Engagement: 4/5

Again great writing and character with the story starting to pick up. Still great engagement, and I want to keep reading.

Chapter 4: Trying to do right

Characters: 4/5

Writing: 5/5

Storyline: 4/5

Engagement: 4/5

A shorter chapter and another character. At this point I'm really interested in how everything will tie together. The characters are very well described.

Chapter 5: What? Is that the question?

Characters: 3/5

Writing: 3/5

Storyline: 3/5

Engagement: 3/5

I personally found it less engaging, possibly because it's a lot of internal thoughts with focus mostly on one character. However it is still interesting to see the characters' dialogue.

Conclusion:

Overall, "The Last Philosopher" seems like a great story and I hope to see how it all ties together as I keep reading.

The characters are well-written and relatable, and the storyline seems to have a lot of thought put into it and it is very intriguing right from the start.
