Loki hated parties, too many people, all usually focused on Thor. And then Thor wrapping his wrist around Loki's neck to introduce him to the crowd, only making the hate ignite further in his core. Loki might've enjoyed something like this, if his brother wasn't there, or any of the Avengers roaming the room. But it was all part of the settlement, he stays in eyesight- and no handcuffs. Loki had done some good in his last moments before defeat. And that was enough for this charade.

He knew no one trusted him, including Thor. So there he sat, wondering why he was there? And not rotting in a dirty cell like the lot of them wanted. Perhaps he deserved it, even Loki thought so sometimes. Though one thing he and his brother had in common, drinks. He could down just as much as the blonde, though he chose not to chug down 3 beers at once in a shout. Loki enjoyed the lasting sips and the way it washed the pain from his core for a few hours, the way a fine wine did. He was sure there was no such thing on Midgard, let alone the tower.

The pale man finds the first empty seat, before noticing the lump of a cloak beside him. "Wine, red." He ordered, his voice even scaring the bartender, who knew who the man was. At least he was too afraid to try to poison him, Loki thought, grabbing the newly poured wine. "Who's that?" He asked, looking at the lightly snoring figure slumped beside him. The man tried to nod, he was much too afraid to say a word. Loki wondered if the sleeping sack would be afraid of who was sitting next to them, he kid himself. Not a single person in the building didn't fear him, not even a little bit.

His thoughts were wedged through by the sudden increase of music behind him, surely Tony's doing. Loki threw the red to the back of his throat, skipping to the good part in due time. Until the figure next him began to move, leaning up before wiping the dust from their eyes. "Ah, good morning." He said, watching the drip of red flow around in his glass. Though before he got a good look at the fellow, they leaned their head onto the bar again. "Chin up, you've only got 3 more Suns till this disaster is over." He adds, racing to get a word out of them, anything more than a change in posture.

They sigh, "Red- wine. Please." Lifting their finger, he noticed its dark tint, and claw. If the ripped cloak wasn't enough, he only wondered why no one else had seen them. But the thing that surprised him was her voice. It was soft, and elegant. Surely not belonging to the sleeping trench coat of a person. He couldn't stop the light red appearing on his cheek. But he quickly coughed it off, Not only that but they shared an opinion on good wine, not that this was. "Sometimes I forget they can't see me." She began, leaning up. He finally sees the darkened face under the cloak. She was beautiful, he found it almost shameful she was hiding under the ripped fabric. He seemed a bit frozen to where she noticed it too.

Y/n tugs the hood down, "Not human enough right? Thought you hated them." They looked back at the bar table. "Don't. It'd be a shame if these fools weren't able to see your beauty." He could've swore he saw a blush on her cheeks, but she pulled off the hood. That's when he saw the tall pointy ears on the top of the wolf god's head. Some golden jewelry pierced the folds in her ears, most definitely egyptian. Gold was a nice color on her, he thought. He couldn't wait to shower her in it. "They do love pet's." Pet. He decided he liked the name on her, for him to say at least. He didn't want to think about Tony calling her such a name.

He noticed the barkeep didn't glance her way, in fact no one did. He was the only one who could see the wolf. Not that he minded, though he might look insane to the party goers around him. "It's a bit tricky, but Anubis taught me." He had heard that name before. Again an Egyptian name, both were worrying. Anubis was a god of death, a primary god in Egypt. It meant he had power, whoever Loki was talking to now, was connected to that. So why were they there, in a ripped cloak, covered in exhaustion- in the Avengers tower- at a party? She was much too good to be there. With him. He wasn't complaining. When he was with her, he wouldn't let her anywhere near somewhere as shabby as this. "I wish I knew it, maybe then they'd stop bothering me."
