What does it mean to be the king? What does it take for you to be a king? A leader that all will follow? The answer may be wealth, fame, or fear, but it's respect. Why would a king need their followers to respect them when they can order execution if they defy them?Well, it prevents them from being overthrown if the ruler gains the respect of his subjects. Leading through nothing but fear is one thing, but finding the proper balance between what it takes to be a king will ensure longevity for whatever kingdom the king is ruling.
On Earth, there is one entity everyone considers a king, it's not human, and everyone equally fears him; a few among them respect the beast, viewing it as a force of nature. They call him Godzilla. While others appeared before him, they were killed, and those who survived their battles with Godzilla considered him the king as he bested everything thrown at him....until now.
Man is arrogant; when this beast first awoke, the first thing they attacked with their most potent weapon, which didn't do something. After that failure, more monsters showed up they continued to find ways to stand over them, which failed time and time again. Humanity would keep pulling themselves from the rubble of those titan's battles, aliens who fell from the stars in hopes of crushing them, and other humans wanting to use the kaiju as a weapon.
As one last-ditch effort to stop the kaiju, they created a black hole gun. There was a chance it would only destroy the intended target, or it would destroy them all, but with the alien invasion and every single kaiju fighting in Tokyo, it was now or never. Instead of letting the monsters end the very reason for their emergence, they wanted to stop it all with one go, and that decision caused the end of humanity.
"But man is a part of nature, and his war against nature is inevitably a war against himself" Rachel Carson.

The weapons swallowed everything in its path, pulling it into the darkness. While others objects and beings were destroyed or body was changed within the space anomaly, Godzilla was there. Nothing in his sight, just a hollow emptiness that words cannot describe. While humans read about black holes, a kaiju wouldn't know nor even begin to understand what's happening and where they are. Godzilla's first assumption was that his site was taken away from him, but with the silence continuing and no feeling, this begins to confuse the beast.
Godzilla only floated there, with no sense of time or anything. He wouldn't know how long he'll float around or how long he has been floating here. All he knew was that the feeling was uncomfortable, and he wanted it to end. He suddenly dropped, like he was free falling, his body becoming denser as it stretched. Unknown to the Daikaiju, he reached the center of the black hole, where Godzilla would be entirely obliterated by space and time. This would be the end of Godzilla if the thought of dying in the darkness didn't enrage him.
Godzilla wouldn't let this be the end of him; he wouldn't let this be his last act. Every kaiju he faced thus far couldn't end this; challengers, space invaders, and bastardizations of him didn't end him. He won't let some weapon of the humans cause his death, and he starts to charge up the access energy he had in him, left ready to obliterate whatever he's about to cross paths with that's altering all of his senses. As an orange light begins to glow, Legend starts to fire his atomic breath as he approaches the orange glow. Firing everything he had seemed to do nothing; as he came into contact with the light, it only burned for a bit as he started to phase right into it.

With a quick flash, Godzilla suddenly wakes up underground. Everything felt odd; his bones felt different. His scales were different; new feelings that were never there started to appear. He tried to make heads or tails on why all these new senses were there; as he opened his eyes and moved, he felt several small grains roll down his head. He was in the sand, much like when he first emerged and attacked humanity. He pulled himself out of the sand, tons of sand rushing off his body as he stood up to his full height and shook the rest of his body, shielding his eyes from the sun.
