Broodwings are not like other tribes. They don't have one kingdom ruled by one queen or a palace, they live like ants.
There are multiple broodwing queens that control one tree web system each. Some of which are bigger than others, which is why the smaller ones try to take from the bigger ones (cutting down their trees and using them for themselves). That's when the territorial fights happen.
When one queen wants to fight another, they send one of their broodwings, most likely a guard, over to the tree system that she wants to fight. That guard enters said tree web system and gose to queen to tell her what's up, then they leave. If the queen accepts, she sends a guard of her own to the queen who inciated the battle. If she rejects, she risks the chance of the other queen ambushing and attacking anyway. The two of them then have 1 week to prepare for battle, then the two queens decide on a an area to fight, and make both of their armies fight. Territorial fights are almost never a fight to the death, in fact if one soldier kills another that was on the opposite side, that soldier is now shamed for their actions. It's is considered Dishonorable Murder and consequences will be given to the unruly soldier. Which ever side wins gets whatever they were fighting over. The queens themselves don't usually fight unless absolutely necessary.
Each tree web system has a name that is based off of the system's and or the queen's greatest qualities (ex: The Beautiful Web, The Courageous Web, The Rich Web, etc.). When a new queen steps to the throne after her mother's death, they don't change the name to match because most princesses have the same best qualities of their mother's or have similar qualities. But sometimes the name dosen't match at all and the queen has the decision to change it or not.
If a newly crowned queen chooses to change the name of her system, then she will do so during her crowning ceremony. There will be large feasts and music playing and everyone celebrating when a new queen is crowned, so it's best to announce the new name for the web then. Broodwings of all ages are permitted to attend crowning ceremonies.
Broodwings never have kings. When the queen marries someone, that broodwing is just treated like any other broodwing. He can visit the family and he is probably very famous and gets to visit the royal family no matter what the situation is, but apart from that he isn't any different. If a queen has princes, they are treated the same. Princesses are treated just as good as the queens, getting special access to things that normal broodwings would never be able to.
Keep in mind that the male broodwings who marry queens are mostly powerful political figures like royal advisers or officers. They also can be important ranks in military like generals and all that jazz (idk much about the military lol). Princes often follow in their father's footsteps and are often sought after because marrying a prince is a good way to get into the royal family.
The queen of a tree web system assigns what her subjects do in as jobs, which can include: nursery sitting, web building, guarding, being a soldier, a gardener, a hunter, you name it, they do it. Whenever a broodwing reaches the age of 7, they are brought to the queen and she decides what that broodwing will do and how long they will work each day. She then gives the broodwing a manager who will give them shifts and tell them when they can have breaks and how long those breaks will be. These broodwings are usually trusted by the queen and are well experienced with whatever job was assigned to newly grown broodwing. A broodwing can apply to change their job if they feel it isn't serving them well by filling out a form giving it to their manager, which then in gets giving to the queen to review and she'll decide if that broodwing can have a job change.
If the queen has a brother, he gains the title of Sir (ex: Sir Name instead of just saying Name) and gets all the privileges of a king or prince. If a queen has a sister, she gains the title of Lady and is treated just as well as the queens and princesses.
