If I decide to add anything, I'll put it here.

After a suggestion from a friend, I have decided that I'll make it so broodwings have a hollow exoskeleton so that they can still fly without being weighted down. I was also given the idea of making it so broodwings had a chance to have four wings, but not all of them do.

I randomly asked for my mother's approval for if the broodwings should have green blood, and she said yes so here we are. Broodwings have green blood.

The barren land that is most of Aranea is not only unliveable because of how hot and dry it is, but there are quicksand pits that will drag anything that slips into them into them, and they can only be saved if someone who is strong enough to do so pulls them put of the pit. Beneath these pits are gaint worm like creatures with jaws big enough to swallow a dragon whole. If a dragon slips into the quicksand above them and nobody saves them, the worm eats them. They are the only creatures that live in the barren parts of Aranea. They are only able to survive because of the broodwings' desperation to plant trees and other plants. They keep going into the wasteland to attempt to plant something, and almost always become worm food. These predators are known as SandSwallowers by the broodwings.

Broodwings are pretty strong for their average size. They usually reach the average height of a sandwing or mudwing. They rarely reach the height of a skywing. Yet, most broodwings have the physical strength of mudwings, and some of them are even stronger. Just like ants, broodwings can lift, pull, or carry up to 5x their weight. This comes in handy for when they remove large logs and stones to clear away area for web building or battles.

Vibrant and Formica are worshipped as a God and Goddess type beings as Vibrant brought their unique abilities, but he brought The Green Death. Formica then saved Vibrant and the tribe and made them a better society to live in.

The thin layer of fur on the broodwings can lay flat or be fluffed up during the winter. Having fur during the warmer seasons would be rather inconvenient for the tribe, so when it's hot or just not cold the fur lays flat and is tucked under the plates of the tough exoskeleton the tribe possesses. But in the winter, as you could imagine, they look like really fluffy spider-dragons. It's almost cute in a way
