Beorns younger sister and her friends(Legolas x reader)

Chapter 4

As we stepped inside the dark place inside the mines of Moria, there were skeletons surrounding the place when someone said, "It's not a mine, It's a tomb!" Boromir yelled this as we were going to retreat back outside, Frodo was grabbed by a tentacle arm and was above the water. I made my way over to Frodo as the creature had its tentacle wrapped around his leg ready to be dropped into the creature's mouth.

I acted quickly as I shifted my hands into little claws and sliced most of the tentacles as I came to the one that I sliced as the creature screamed in pain and dropped Frodo as I caught him in my arms. I put him back down on the ground and ushered him into the mines of Moria. We all ran back to the mines of Moria as the entrance had been blocked because the boulders had blocked the entrance and the only choice was to: walk through the dark Moria. Shivers were sent down my spine as I don't like being in Moria for what happened to the poor dwarves and Balin. Gimli will be upset when he finds out about Balin for he died in honor and Bilbo would miss him too if he heard this news.

As we walked through the halls of Moria we came across a tomb that said: Here lies Balin. Gimli cried out from the news as Gandalf read what the tomb said. I went over to Gimli and comforted him from the news. I was also sad when Pippin accidentally touched something and went down the hole. Gandalf turned to Pippin really mad that he touched the skeleton, then that's when the Goblins heard us and we had to close the doors and stand our ground in the tomb place. There was a high roar and that's when Boromir said: "They brought a cave troll!" I quickly shifted into a smaller dragon so no one would notice me fighting the troll.

Goblins tried to break down the door as Legolas, and Aragorn shot them one by one with their arrows.

I quickly scurried over to the cave troll, climbed on top of him then started breathing fire on him. Gandalf noticed this but didn't mention this to worry the others especially Legolas because he was in love with me and so was I but we never said or confessed anything about that. The cave troll screamed out in pain as the others looked at the cave troll in confusion until they saw me on top of the cave troll. Legolas was the first one to act quickly as I was about to be grabbed by the troll still breathing fire on him doing no good so I decided to bite the troll in the arm.

Why would I do this you may ask? Well, my friend, because I have venom in my teeth that can poison my opponents making me unstoppable. As Legolas shot an arrow at the cave troll, the cave troll turned his attention to him as he brought out a chain whip and started to whip Legolas who dodges it easily. I crawled down to the cave trolls' arm and bit hard making sure I have a tight grip so the poison can pass onto the cave troll. The cave troll let out a shriek making him grab me and throw me to the ground. Before he could step on me Legolas jumped onto the cave troll and wasted two arrows to the head of the troll and then jumped away as he got the attention of the troll.

I got up and shifted back to my normal form as I was grabbing my twin daggers and ready to attack the troll, a blast of ice came onto the troll freezing him so he couldn't move. I knew who this was because I knew how they would make an entrance of saving my butt from a troll or something else. As the figure approached us. I squealed in excitement as I saw my friend Joslin. She was in her dragon form still, but she can shift. You may think the skin changer race has been almost wiped out but no, you're wrong, my friends, me and Beorn were the last skin changers. I never told Beorn this because he would find them and make sure they would stay with me in a house for the rest of our lives!

Her dragon form was really unique and I loved it! Her dragon scales were sapphire blue with specks of white. Her eyes were mud brown with kindness and bravery in her eyes. Her main breath was ice because when she tries to use the other breaths that I use she fails but she is basically the only dragon to breathe ice. I ran over and hugged part of her wing as she looked down at me smiling. "Joslin, you can shift back now! My friends won't hurt you, they already know my shift as well." I say chuckling to myself. My friend also chuckled then shifted back into her normal form.

Her normal form was beautiful. Though she was a little taller than me, her eyes were crystal blue, her tunic was fire red. She has freckles on her face, dark brown hair tied into a ponytail. She walked over to me and hugged me tightly but not so tight I couldn't breathe. She let go of me, "It's really good to see you again my friend!" She exclaimed. She looked over at my friends then back at me with a confused expression. She pointed at the others, "Who the heck are they, Dawn?" she asked coldly.

They all approach me and Gandalf stands next to me. "Joslin, you know Gandalf, my old friend!" I said, hoping she would remember, and of course she remembered and that is why I could always count on her! "Gandalf, it has been awhile since we last met, my friend!" She said apologetically. Gandalf chuckled and shook her hand. "It's alright Joslin, my dear friend. Yes, it has been a while since we last talked to each other!" Gandalf said. I turned toward Joslin, "Joslin I would like you to meet the others." I said.

Yay! Some friends coming to assist Dawn and the fellowship! This should be very interesting!
