The next day at school, Marie had fallen asleep in second period. It was unusual for the teen to do so, and when the teacher woke her up with a note to the office, Marie felt shamed.

Walking down the halls, she could see into other rooms. She passed Steve's class, they met eye contact and she gave him a little wave. He had called her early this morning to tell her that he couldn't bring her to school, and that had prompted Hopper to bring her.

She looked down at the pass in her hands, it was a nurse's note that clearly stated that Marie shall go and "lay down" for a couple hours. She knew that her teachers knew she had been working late with Hopper.

Knocking on the nurse's door, she waited until the nurse looked over the note and pointed to the little laid back chair in the back corner.

"Knowing that you're out late looking for the missing kid, you deserve to sleep." The nurse said to Marie as she walked by her, Marie gave a quick nod and dropped her bag next to the chair.

"You can sleep as long as you want, I'll even wake you up before the final bell rings."

Marie was greatful for this, because she knew that the moment she closed her eyes, she wouldn't open them for awhile. Laying down on her back she stared up at the ceiling for a few seconds, then she felt her eyes growing heavier.

As she closed them, she could've sworn she saw that little boy again. But it was too late she had already felt her eyes shut completely, and they didn't seem to want to open.

Across the room from Marie, the nurse grabbed the phone and called Hopper. She did find it weird that he had sent her to school so sleep deprived, and hadn't okayed it with her mom if she should've come.

Flo answered the phone, and said she would take a message.

"Yeah, could you tell Chief Hopper that next time he has Marie Henderson out all night, not to send her to school the next morning."

"Why?" Flo asked, she was intrigued and worried for the girl who she worked with daily.

"I've got her in here with me, she's sleeping. Apparently she fell asleep in her last period, and the teacher was worried." The nurse tells Flo.

"I'll let him know, he said he was picking her up today as well."

"Well, she should be plenty rested when he comes."

True to her word, the nurse did in fact wake Marie up before the final bell, so as she walked out to the parking lot she watched as Steve tears some pictures up in front of Jonathan's face, then grabs his camera and drops it.

Marie was quick to make her way over to the group. Confused as to why her best friend had broke Jonathan's camera, something he had on his person always.

"Harrington! What the fuck!" Marie's voice made the group turn to her, and when she met eyes with Steve he knew he was in for it. He knew it was never going to be the same.

While she was Steve's best friend, he knew that Jonathan meant a lot to her. So when she made it to the group, and stood next to Jonathan, he knew that there was no apologizing this time.

"He took perverted pictures of Nancy!" Carol says, and this makes Marie look at her. Smirking, Marie opens her mouth to say.

"Oh honey we all know Tommy takes them of you from a far, so why is it any different than Jonathan doing it?" Marie says, and this makes Jonathan look down at her.

Carol gawked at the brunette and turned to look at Steve, wondering if he was going to do anything. When he didn't she started to walk away, Tommy followed her.
