Jenna's point of view:
Y/N was the most beautiful girl I've ever seen. She had long, y/h/c hair, sparkling y/e/c eyes, she was smart, intelligent, honest, passionate. She wasn't like the other girls, she was different and I appreciated her for that.
On the other hand, there was me. I was the star of our school, I was the leader of the football team. Everyone was head over heels for me, even tho I only had eyes for one girl. For a girl who doesn't seem to notice me. Why would she?! I was carless, spoiled, judgmental and selfish. At least that's what people said about me. I don't blame them, my teammates fit with these qualities perfectly well.
But not me. I wasn't anything like them. I wanted to do something with my life, I had goals, I actually liked studying and I did not have one night stands every single night.
I let out a big sigh and the caused wind blew my papers down to the classroom's floor.
'Damn it!' I looked up to the ceiling and breathed out again.
'"Split the lark and you'll find the music. Bulb after bulb in silver rolled scantily dealt to the summer morning. Saved for your ear, when lutes be old." Wow, you don't look like someone who reads Emily Dickinson' someone slowly put the piece of paper back on the desk.
'Why? How does someone who reads Emily Dickinson look like?' I asked irritated and looked up to the girl who was standing in front of me. Y/N. Good job, Jenna, awesome even.
'Oh, uhm, I'm so sorry, I didn't mean to offend you, I-I just...'
'No, it's okay, it's totally fine. I'm just tired, that's all, sorry for being rude' I smiled at her. She looked a little confused but she returned the smile. 'And even tho it wasn't a question, I do like Emily Dickinson. I like her a lot, actually.'
'Well, that's great. I do too' she giggled.
I was about to say something when one of my team mates, Georgie decided to ruin my only chance with Y/N.
'Yo, Ortega! I get it, it's a hobby of yours to hit on pretty girls but I thought we agreed on you leaving Y/L/N alone. I want her all to myself' he winked.
The girl just rolled her eyes and looked at me; 'Anyways, good luck with tonight. I'm sure you'll do great' and with that, she joined her best friend, Taylor and walked out of the classroom.
That's just great. Now she thinks I'm a fuckgirl who's just like the other stupid football players. That's just great.

'Good job, Sis! You did really great. It's not even question why you're the star of this team' my brother, Markus pulled me in the biggest hug after we won tonight's game. "Where would you like to celebrate?' he asked.
Our parents weren't in town, it was their 25th year anniversary, so they decided to leave the city and take a little trip to New York. It was nice of Markus to try his best to make me feel great and appreciated but somehow, I just wasn't in the mood to celebrate.
'How does pizza at home and 'Pride and Prejudice' sound?' I asked him with a small smile forming on my lips.
'What?! No "oh my god, let's go, grab a few drinks, do crazy shit because our parents are not home and ain't no way we would get in trouble" he mocked my voice. 'You just wanna go home and watch a movie that you've seen multiple times and eat pizza? That's strange, are you okay?' he chuckled.
I just shrugged and pulled him towards my car.
'I'll tell you when we get home. I don't want anyone to hear. And I might could use some advice from my little brother.'
