I really thought he liked me

~Welcome to your new home~

I was just sitting there in my room, studying for my math exam, when I heard my mum call my name. "Dua!! I'm going to welcome our new neighbors, wanna come??"

Wait. New neighbors? Since when someone wants to move to this place?? It's just two houses in the middle of nowhere

"No mum! I'm going to take a break from studying!"

"Okay, but don't make it last very long!"

"Why is everybody shouting so much??!!" My sister Laura (Lau for me and her friends) just took off her headphones and heard my mum and I, screaming at each other from one side of the house to another. My sister is the best person I have in my life. She can be so annoying and obsessed with things, but she is so nice and caring.

"CAN EVERYBODY SHUT UP!!?? I'M TRYING TO STUDY!!" And there is the third one. Uri, or as his friend called him, Liam. Everyone said Uri didn't suit him, so they started calling him Liam. He changed his name in his ID, he wanted to be called Liam by everyone, not only his friends. My family were okay with it, but we keep calling him Uri because we think it suits him better.

"Sorry! Everyone sure you don't wanna come?"

"No, mum, that's so creepy!"

"Hey! We've been living here for two years, and they are our first neighbors, so I think-"

"SERIOUSLY, I'M TRYING TO STUDY!

"Dude, we get it! Sorry!"

"Well, see you guys in a bit"

I was curious, so just when I heard my mum close the front door, I rushed downstairs to look through the living room window, the biggest one in the house. I couldn't believe what I saw. Three guys looking almost identical got out of a van, shutting the door behind them, all at the same time. I could say I had never in my life seen someone as perfect as them, they looked just so perfect, so beautiful. Why does the world give a fountain of beauty to just a few, and to others only a couple of drops? I wish I could look like them. AND I ONLY SAW THEIR BACK! 

They started taking thing out of the van, and suddenly one of them looked around and stopped when he saw me. His eyes found mine and I almost fell when I realized that they were the prettiest eyes I've ever seen. A perfect smile got on his face while he waved at me. I tried to wave back to him, but my brain wasn't working, it was processing the fact that all that beauty smiled and waved at me. I saw his smile disappearing slowly as he saw I wasn't wave him back. I finally got my brain to work and waved. I realized that I was wearing some pajama pants and a sweater. Nothing else.
