Explanation

Setting down the first aid kit, Tarony knew she had to tell him the truth. "And how am I supposed to know that? You have all these weapons here, you know how dangerous it could be to have these lying around?!" He gestured towards the weapons. Her ears flickered downward, not entirely sure how to start off. 

"What if a Metkayina child walks in here, and takes interest in these, then what? What if they injure themselves?!" He took a deep breath before glaring down at her, ears lowering, and tail flickering with a snap. She knew the male before her means well, the fatherly instinct is clearly evident. "That is the reason why they're not allowed in here. The Olo'eyktan banned them from entering this place." Jake jerks back, not expecting the response. 

"They know?" His question came out gravely, almost choked out. Tarony nods her head in confirmation. "Yes, they've known since I first arrived in the village when I was twelve." Jake didn't know what to think, for the first time- well not really first- his mind came into a blank slate. "Tonowari was the one to instruct the villagers to stay far from my Marui for this reason." His brows furrowed in confusion. "How come I was not aware?" 

The girl's tail flicked, "Because you were trying to bond with the Tsurak." Realization hit Jake on why Tonowari was late, but again he was still confused. "But why didn't he tell me? He had the chance since we did three hours of training." The girl sighed in annoyance, "Probably because you're too caught up in trying to bond with the Tsurak, or maybe because he knew that you'd find out soon." Everything is muddling for Jake, nothing's making sense or adding up. "How old are you?" Jake finally decided to sit down with Tarony copying his actions. "Nineteen." 

"Nineteen?!" She was young. Very young. He presumed that she was at least in her twenties. From how much she knows. Her knowledge possibly passes his, and he's been a live for quite sometime. But, the amount of time, and knowledge. It doesn't seem right. Something is telling him that something isn't right. "How do you know so much? With so little time?" Jake's thoughts are scattered possibilities of her being something that she is not. He looks down at her hands. Three digits. She is Na'vi, That much is true.

In a low hum Tarony stares at him. She knows that he doesn't know about the others. "Jake Sully. Are you aware of the TAP project?" His brows scrunch in thought. Memories flashes from the times in his human body. There's times where he catches brief glances at some of the scientist tablets. Some of them having TAP logo on the corner of the screen, but other than that? No. Back then, he was a marine. One with no knowledge on what the hell is happening. Now he kind of regrets on not snooping around more. "No, I've seen the logo a few times here and there but-" he pauses. How the hell does she know that? He presumed that she stole the weapons from the RDA, but is there a possibility she's with them? Did they send her here to spy on him? No, that's not like them.  If she was sent here to discover his location. He would be dead by now.

Tarony could see the gears turning in his head. "The TAP. It is a project that the sky-people had created. At first, it was to make peace with the Na'vi, but sooner or later. Greed and corruption took over. I'm sure you know of a man named John Mercer?" Jake's ears twitch. The name was familiar, Mercer was one of the big guys back then. The Resistance, they've been keeping him up to date with the RDA they are dealing on their part, and quite a few of their logs mentioned Mercer. How the hell does she know about him. No, the real question is. How much does she know?

"How do you know about him? No Na'vi should be this aware of the RDA situation. Are you with the Resistance?" It would make sense if she was. Her head tilts a bit to the side, "In a way yes I am part of the Resistance-" The amount of guns make sense now. "But the TAP project was soon taken over by Mercer." He is confused still, "what does Mercer have anything to do with this, and what of the TAP project? This project seems like a big thing." Jake cuts her off with question after question. Nothing is making sense. All she had to say she was part of the Reinforcement and that's it. So why continue? Is their HQ hiding something from him?
