Gin was born with her brother Ollie conjoined at the shoulder; Ollie had no control over the shared arm. As the two grew older they were very close (pun intended I suppose) but, what Gin didn't know is that her brother had been sick for quite some time and at the age of 9 they had been separated. Ollie did not make it. After Ollie had died, Gin was still hearing his voice. Her parents had thought it was just her imagination or her way of coping. When she turned 12 and this 'act' had gotten too much to handle, they took her to see a doctor who had diagnosed her with schizophrenia and prescribed her with Chlorpromazine. Although she could still hear him, Gin decided to pretend that it stopped because she knew that her parents would be unhappy if she continued to speak about it. Ginene was a good student who eventually graduated high school and went on to go to a community college. She went for photography and became a freelance photographer. A lot of the time Gin travels to take photos of random places, things, or people. Her travels eventually led her to the little town of Ambrose...
