"Mom, what happened?" I questioned her as I got out the car.

She was sitting inside the police station and shit.

I noticed bruising and shit on her knuckles.

"They do sum to you?" I mugged as I grabbed her hands.

"No, you have the money?" She asked me and I nodded walking up to the officer sitting at the front desk.

"How much?" I mugged him.

"Whats her name?"

"Elease Celine Potts," I said her full name.

The officer did some typing and shit, then eyed me.

"2500 is her bail."

I dug in my pocket and pulled out an envelope because I wasn't about to show them all these 100s I was carrying.

The officer eyed me, but took the envelope and started counting the bread.

"You're free to go."

I grabbed my mama and we walked to the car.

My sister and Ky was in the backseat together.

My mom climbed into the front and my sister jumped up and wrapped her arms around her neck.

"You're so big baby girl." My mama pulled her into her chest.

"I love you so much, I promise to protect you until I can't no more," I heard my mom mumble as I started up my engine.

"Glad you're home mama," I heard Ky as I pulled off from the prison.

"Missed you too baby,"

My mom loved her some Ky, ion know why.
