Jay's POV:

"You ready?" Meech asked me as I shook my head yes.

I grabbed my phone and purse and we prepared to walk from the back.

He wanted to get lunch from this taco shop he told me about. He said the birria tacos hittin' so I'll be the judge of that. One thing I love about our friendship is that he always buys me food... love him.

"Ight let's head out. We gotta be back on time. Ion' wanna hear shit from Marcus." Meech said as I chuckled, walked out, and went through the back doors.

"Yea me either."

"Girl Marcus ain't gone say shit to you."

"Meech, you acting like Marcus knows about me and Chris. Nobody knows but you." I said as he thought about it.

"Damn... you right. Well let's hurry up or both of our ass gone be grass cause ain't no special treatment round dis' bitch." He said chuckling.

He opened up the car door for me and I hopped in. He closed it and jogged to the other side.

Once he got in, he shut his door, put the key in the ignition, and his Challenger roared to life.

I got excited just because I'm a sucker for muscle cars.

I have a Camaro that one of my cousins gave to me. He knew that I needed it and he had another car, so he was nice enough to let me have it.

It's blue with tinted windows, rims on it, and all. I love it, but Meech drives mostly... or Chris.

Chris' POV:

I scratched the back of my head and I slouched in the chair in my office.

"What you think they want?" Justin asked as I sighed deeply.

"Ion' know man. Ion' know what to expect cause he ain't really say shit." I said to Justin as he mumbled, "Fuck.." under his breath.

I talked to the Columbians this morning about a possible shift in leadership... Juan, the kingpin, said that he wants a meeting setup for us to discuss terms further... but, it's a catch.

"So we just supposed to trust these niggas?" Justin asked.

"Aye, we can go stacked if you need. Security can be tight for yo' safety boss." One of my guards said as I pinched the bridge of my nose with my fingers.

"This shit don't sound right... why the hell we gotta fly all the way to Columbia? That territory is dangerous as hell bro." Justin said.

"I don't know... but you right. Something don't sound right." I said honestly.

"It shouldn't be an issue. Like they expect niggas to be in the game forever, but that ain't everybody path. I know this game like the back of my hand. Imma make them trust me bro cause I know how important it is to you now to get out. I got yo' back regardless." Justin said as I shook my head.

"I appreciate the fuck outta' you bro. You always kept it a buck wit' me and you always been here. Whatever happens, we gotta be prepared. These Columbians ain't the people to fuck with. So, we can't be the ones to fuck with either. I got pull just like he do and imma stand onnat' shit." I said as I stood to my feet.

At the end of the day, I handle shit regardless of who's on the other end of that table.

But, I won't lie... this shit is risky as fuck.

I just don't know how to tell Jayde that I'm going to South America... and it might be a chance that I don't come back from this.
