01 | A Night in the City

She looked around, checking her back as well since it was so late and she was paranoid because of it.

I want to go home already, this feels like eternity..Why can't I find my home??!! She looked at her surroundings, this place was indeed alien to her.

Took the wrong path? Didn't think so, this is weird.. Anxiety was rising up in her and she was feeling extremely uneasy both because of the place and the time.

I need to find a way out from here, I don't have any good feelings about this place, I feel something is off here. Fear, fear was the thing which was filling her up now.

Nightmare? I want to wake up, I want to wake up, I want to wake up!!

"This is not a dream, you can't wake up from it."

She felt a presence behind her, the street lights began to flash continuously. The guy behind her was affecting them. She checked her back one more time and she saw nothing, the guy emitting out black aura who was standing right behind of her had vanished in the thin air.

She didn't know that a guy was behind of her so she thought it was just a thing but someone so she didn't mind it and kept on walking. However, one thing was still playing in her head:

"This is not a dream, you can't wake up from it"

Was that a lyric from a song she was listening to or a quote from a book she was reading she didn't think so.

I don't think I know where this came from and don't know the existence who said this.

She became paranoid, this kept playing in her head that the guy who she thought was a thing whispered in her ear.

"WHO THE HELL ARE YOU??!!"

He thought he knew this one specific voice but it couldn't be her, because she died quite a long time ago.

No, it can't be her I saw her death, she died right in front of me, in front of my eyes, I'm bulletproof but couldn't save her by jumping on her.. She was just a human, an innocent one..

The only thing she was unlucky about that she was the soulmate of the devil.

There was she, standing right in front of a guy who was looking at her as if he had lost his mind.

"Where's even he? You thought that he'd come after you?? What made you think so?"

"Stop with the bullshit!! As if you know him." She started laughing hysterically. "You're a shithead and shitheads know nothing but bullshit."

Then the guy took out a gun from his pocket and pointed it right at her.

"Ah, what are you going to do, Sunghoon, you're going to shot me??" She started laughing hysterically, again. "Oh, just because I 'caused you a hard time by breaking up with you?? You couldn't bear seeing me with another just because you're so obsessed with me and that you want to have me back?? That's not going to happen, Park Sunghoon."
