Neteyam x Ao'nung

It is the morning after eclipse as my family and I, along with our ikrans, touch down on an island in the eastern waters of pandora. The islands are home to the Metkayina tribe, a group of lighter blueish green Na'vi who have adapted to living within the reefs.

As soon as we land a large group formed around us, all staring in confusion and disbelief. I stand closer to my brother just in case something happens. My body freezes as a man and woman appear from the water on some animals I don't know the name of.

The man approaches my father, Jake, and they speak about the reason for our arrival. I look around as two boys emerge from the crowd, they look about my age. My brother Lo'ak and I sign 'I see you' but it's not reciprocated. Instead the one with his hair in a bun yanks on my tail,

"You call this a tail?" He snickers.

I scowl at the ground, I'm annoyed but I know I must hide it. Another Na'vi emerges from the water, this time a girl, I grin as Lo'ak stares at her.

'Typical Lo'ak' I think to myself

The woman standing next to the man talking to my father (whom I now know as Tonowari) walks towards my sister Kiri. She insults her tail and arms, making me even more pissed off.

"These people are not even true Na'vi!" The woman exclaims as gasps of shock travel around the crowd. I look over at the boy, he glares at me and this time I glare back.

Mother and the woman argue back and forth. I find out her name is Ronal, Tonowaris wife. My father apologises to the chief and explains his origin and how he was able to adapt.

The chief agrees to letting us stay as long as we learn their ways and become useful to the tribe. He assigns his children Tsireya and Ao'nung - the boy- to teach us. As if leaving home wasn't already bad I get stuck with a boy who clearly hates me. Although as much as I hate to admit the boy is good looking, maybe this gig could work out after all.

Lol sorry this is so long and that nothing rlly happens. I honestly didn't really know what to do I've never written fan-fiction before and I wanted this to be a bit of an introduction chapter in a way? I promise more stuff will go down in later chapters lol (ofc nothing weird bc they're literally 15 😃) Anyways if there's anything I can improve on let me know for real 🙏 Sorry if it sucks!
