The sun god rose from a hill on the river of chaos and gave birth to herself. After giving birth to Tefnut, God of Moisture and Shu, God of Air. The Sun God also Gave birth to Baset, God of Abundance and fertility, Hathor, God of Love and Beauty, Maat, God of Truth and Justice, and Sekhmet, God of destruction.

The Sun God's children, Tefnut, God of Moisture, and Shu, God of Air, fell in love with each other, and gave birth to Nut, God of the Sky, and Geb, God of the Earth.

Nut and Geb fell in love with one another and wanted to have a child. However...

"Geb and Nut's child will rule over Egypt."

After hearing the prophecy, the Sun God became jealous of them. She cursed Nut, making her unable to birth children. Nut was distraught and asked Thoth, God of Knowledge and Wisdom, for help. Thoth felt sorry for them, and so went to the Sun God and made a bet over a game of Senet.

Thoth's brilliant wisdom was triumphant, and the Sun God had to cover her eyes for five days.

That is how Nut and Geb were granted permission for five days...

and gave birth to Osiris, God of Life, Isis, God of Magic, Nephthys, God of Harmony and Peace, Seth, God of War and the Desert, and [Name], God of Protection.

These five deities that were born from the sky and earth...

along with the deities that form the world, Nut, God of the Sky, and Geb, God of the Earth...

and the deities that divide the sky and earth, Shu, God of Air, and Tefnut, God of Moisture...

and the Sun, God of Creation and the root of all things.

The Egyptians called these nine

deities combined, the "Ennead."

...

Seth, God of War and the Desert, could control sand and protected Egypt from foreign enemies.

Nephthys, God of Harmony and Peace, could open the ears and mouths of humans, silencing disorder.

Isis, God of Magic, married to Osiris, God of Life, and as a gift to him, kept the Nile River from drying out for the rest of eternity.

Osiris used his divine power to control life by giving humans longevity and prosperity. Egyptians were in deep awe of his absolute power and unparalleled honor. Even the great Sun God did not dare go against Osiris' incredible strength, and so the right of sovereignty over Egypt was soon passed to Osiris.

However...

The youngest of the children disappeared without a trace. Leaving nothing but a dagger addressed to Seth, God of War and the Desert. The youngest, slowly forgotten by the Egyptians and majority of the gods...

Egyptians thought that life would always be peaceful, until one day, the God of Destruction came along. The God of Destruction whispered jealousy into Seth's ear.

Overcome with jealousy, Seth butchered his brother Osiris into nine pieces and threw him into the Nile River.

Seth went straight to Isis and proclaimed himself to be king while demanding she join him. But Isis had already caught on as the Nile River had drifted Osiris' corpse into her embrace. So, she rejected Seth's offer of becoming his right-hand woman and cursed him.

Because of this crime, Isis ended up being imprisoned inside a labyrinth as punishment. The God of Harmony, Nephthys, learned of this and went to Isis...

and told her the way out, whispering so that Seth would not hear. Isis followed her directions and escaped the labyrinth.

She found the butchered pieces of Osiris' corpse and resurrected Osiris with the power of the water from the Nile River. The newly resurrected Osiris wept in the face of Isis' love, for she had overcome hundreds of years of hardship.

For a short while, they made passionate love with one another. But it did not last...

Osiris had already become the God of the Underworld and would not be able to leave the Land of the Dead for a very long time. That is how Isis was left alone, embracing her growing womb. Once again, she hid herself from Seth, living in a forest of reeds.

The child that was born was none other than the future ruler and Sun God of Egypt, "Horus."

Meanwhile, Seth ruled Egypt with blood, so that nobody would dare defy him. The other gods could not lift their heads in the face of Seth's overwhelming power, ultimately falling silent...

...

;Unknown Location;

A pale boy, with dark black(?) hair walks into a bedroom, large ears twitching at the sound of a pencil gliding across paper. He brushed a lock of neon green and black hair out of his eyes revealing brown and aqua irises. In his right hand is a scroll.

"Cyno, there's a scroll or letter for you."

At the desk a tanned boy with long white locks of hair turned to face the fox eared boy. Next to him was a mask/headpiece in the shape of a Jackal's head. Piercing red eyes bored into the black head as he sighed and took the scroll.

Reading the context, Cyno could barely keep a straight face.

"Tighnari."

"Yes?"

"Let's go get Collie. We have a festival to attend."
