MAY POV:
I slowly opened my eyes, and the darn sun almost blinded me up. Getting up and rubbing my eyes as I sat up and looked around the area. What the? What's this, a beach? ... HOW IN THE WORLD I ENDED UP IN A BEACH?!
Okay, I need to take a deep breath because I am freaking out now. Imagine waking up in the middle of the beach with no memory of anything. That's right, I know nothing but my name and where I'm from. Especially my bestie, Sara!
I looked around at my surroundings and realized something... I feel like I have seen this beach before and then... No way, you gotta be kidding me. I swear to myself, I do not see things because I saw A FREAKING MONSTER ON THE BEACH SIDE! I didn't even waste time when I ran away from it, and things got worse; I saw more monsters. Different types of monsters, wait for a second... These monsters, I have seen them before and...

Oh no, no, no!!
IT CAN'T BE!
I AM IN MONSTER HUNTER STORIES 2: WINGS OF RUIN!!!
OH NOOOOOOOOO!!
It's official. I am entirely screwed because I am fat and can barely run. I do run when exercising sometimes, but hardly. Second, I CAN'T FIGHT AT ALL! Even with practice, I am NOT made up for fighting at all. And third, third... Okay, never mind, it's one and two. Then my bad luck decided to strike the monster who looks like Larry the lobster but yellow, and that rolls like a... Wait, what are those animals that roll called again?? Freak it. I'll call it Larry yellow rolling monster; the Larry yellow rolling monster saw me and decided to attack me. Um, excuse me?
I did what any normal human being would do; I screamed and ran away while chased by Larry's yellow rolling monster. WHAT DID I EVEN DO TO YOU, LARRY YELLOW ROLLING MONSTER!? Like seriously?! I kept running away from it and saw a fully open gate. So I decided to go there until I found a hiding spot. But, gosh dang it, where can I find a hiding spot?! What the-?
THIRD POV:
May trip accidentally when not paying attention to the surroundings. After stumbling and rolling painfully through the ground, May looked at the area.
"Huh? This place is.."
Before May could finish her sentence, a heavy growl and breathing interrupted them. May slowly turn around and was scared like a crab. There stands the guardian itself for the island...
GUARDIAN RATHALOS!!!!
' I am sooo screwed,' thought May.
Guardian Rathalos glared at May and growled more.
'Whomever you are, you better leave my island and never come back,' warned Guardian Rathalos. May was shivering completely and then cried like crazy as she was begging him for her life,
"I WILL! I WILL! BUT I NEED A BOAT TO LEAVE THE ISLAND, AND I KNOW HOW TO BUILD A BOAT, AND I NEED TOOLS FOR IT!! BESIDES, I'M INNOCENT HERE! I JUST WOKE UP HERE AND DIDN'T REMEMBER HOW IN THE WORLD I GOT HERE!!"
May continued to rant and speak gibberish. Guardian Rathalos was utterly shocked and in disbelief. The mysterious outsider understands him and knows what he is saying. No one has ever understood monsters except his rider, Red. Like no one understood monsters until now... This mysterious outsider 'understood' him and talked to him like a regular. He carefully studied and observed her until his eyes widened utterly. He now understands why she understands him; she is unique like his rider but completely different. She must have been sent here on his home island for a reason.
'Okay, you can stop ranting!' said Guardian Rathalos, and May stopped ranting about how in the world she got on the island, doesn't remember anything, and is an innocent victim. She now realized that...
"OMG, DID YOU JUST TALK TO ME?!"
'Gah! Goodness, for someone that is like heavy, you sure scream loud and cry a lot like dramatically', grunted Guardian Rathalos.
May gasped and got offended, "Excuse me?! How dare you call me dramatic?! I may be fat, but I am NOT dramatic. I am just a little sensitive".
Guardian Rathalos rolled his eyes and was not amused by her dramatic reaction and turned around to show her to his place. 'Yeah, you sensitive piggy. Come with me now if you want me to trust you and know that you aren't a threat. You better come and prove it to me.'
May groaned and puffed angrily but followed him and calmed down. She was nervous and scared because of why she was inside a VIDEO GAME AND WHY SHE DOESN'T REMEMBER HOW SHE EVEN GOT HERE IN THE FIRST PLACE!?
She was also scared of Guardian Rathalos. I mean, sure, the monster is like a protector of the village and isn't very aggressive to anyone. He may still be aggressive, but he isn't completely dangerous overall. But STILL! He was Red's monster and guardian; for crying out loud, she had reason to be scared and afraid! The worst part is, will she be able to return home to her bestie and her place? Or will she be stuck in the video game forever?
