"Pull over," I instructed quickly, as I grabbed hold of the passenger door handle to the side of me tightly.
"What?" Chloe asked, she looked over to me quickly, before turning her attention back to the road and then back to me again quickly.
"Pull over," I instructed, this time more urgently, my right hand covering my mouth.
She pulled the car over as quickly as she could, the left side of the car driving up next to the curb. As soon as the car came to a halt, I swung the passenger door open, being sick on the side of the road. I made sure to aim in the direction of the grid on the side of the road.
I felt her rub my back reassuringly. After I finished, I turned slowly to sit back in my seat, a loud groan leaving my mouth. I closed my eyes as I sipped my water to help calm down my body.
"You're a mess," I heard Chloe say from the side of me, as she laughed.
I kept my eyes closed, leaning my head back against the head rest, taking some small breaths.
"I know," I grumbled, as I turned my head to the right to look at her, gripping onto my poor plastic water bottle as though my life depended on it. Which, at this moment in time, it did.
For the rest of the drive, Chloe drove as slowly as she could, chuckling when I'd shout at her for going over any speed bumps.
"What do you want me to do?!" She'd shout after I would tell her off for driving over one. To which I'd respond:
"Not drive over them!" I'd complain, closing my eyes to try and compose myself.
"I can't not drive over them!" She'd shout back, trying to sound serious but I could tell that she was finding it amusing, biting her lip to not laugh.
After an excruciatingly long car journey, I saw the familiar black gates which lined the training centre and let out a sigh of relief at the thought of being able to finally get out of the car.
"Anyone would think you were being held hostage," Chloe laughed, as she stopped the car, waiting for the machine to recognise her number plate.
"I am," I grumbled, closing my eyes.
I opened the passenger door as soon as she pulled up into a driving space and swung my legs out of the door, turning my body as I sat in the seat still, my feet touching the concrete floor.
I rested my elbows on my knees, with my head in my hands whilst I waited for Chloe to get her stuff out of the boot.
As I followed her into the changing rooms, I heard the girls talking and laughing amongst themselves. The door creaked as it opened and I looked up to see Alex with her back to me, she turned around when hearing the door open to see who had walked through.
When she saw me, her mouth turned from a straight line into an amused smirk.
"Oh.. my.. god," She dragged out as she looked at me from bottom to top, her voice getting progressively louder.
"Don't say it," I warned as I walked towards her. I knew exactly what she was about to say.
I sat down on the wooden brown changing room bench, facing her. She bit her lip as she looked at me, withholding what she was about to say.
"This is a new low, even for you," She laughed as she threw her training jacket on over the top of her kit.
I closed my eyes as I lent my head against the cold, stone wall behind me. I opened them to see Alex lifting her phone in the air ready to take a picture of me. I slumped backwards against the wall, sticking my middle finger up as she took a picture.
