Chapter 2

As I walked up to him I noticed this was love at first sight! He had the same hair color as I, and he had a great face. Whatever that means. I was halfway to him. I was shaking and nervous knowing I would say something stupid. As I approached, he said in a clear voice," Hello, my name's Jackson. I am a new student here and people say bad things about you but I think you are not what they say you are!" I was so annoyed now because I knew they made that up so we would not go out! That's when I revised girls were going to be fighting over him for his looks. I don't care for a guy for his looks I care about their actions. So this is when I decided to talk to him so I said," Hi, I'm Shelby and I'm not what they say. I thank you very much for thinking otherwise. Do you need any help trying to find your class? He responded," Yes that would be very kind of you!" Jackson and I walked down the hall together and as we walked, people gave me the "death stare". I was blushing I hope he couldn't tell! So I showed him to his math class, which was the first hall to my left, and as he went into the class room, he turned around and looked at me and said," I don't really know you yet, but I really think your amazing so would you like to hang out sometime?" I looked at him with a big, fat smile on my face and screamed,"YES!" Then the whole class behind him just stared at me. I then said again calmer"yes". He smiled and as he turned around he winked at me while smiling. One thing I was so happy about was that he wanted to hang out with me! The most handsome boy in the school wants to hang out with me! I couldn't get too excited because I wasn't sure if it was a date or not. So I walk to my English class which was right next door and thought of if we were going to be a great couple. It might happen, it might not, but you never know till you try!
