That Spring Day

"APRIL YOU'RE UP NEXT" My manager called out as my hairstylist did the last strand of my hair before I was rushed out on to the stage by my staff.

When I made it to the middle of the stage, I looked around at everyone.

Wow, a big audience.

"This is your April Story! Hello, my name is April!" I greeted everyone with a smile before bowing.

"Hello April! Please tell me about your upcoming album." The interviewer said as my manager stood on the side of the stage holding up a sign for me to read.

Do they really believe I didn't memorize my lines?

"My upcoming album is called 1432 and the title track is called Love Blooms like Cherry Blossoms. It's a fantasy romance album with a small twist at the end."

"wow! what does the album title mean? why is it numbers?"

"Oh it means I love you too." I said with a bright smile and the audience started cheering.

"April I love you!" one fan yelled over the rest.

"1432, my springtime!" I responded with a laugh.

~time skips~

After the rest of my time on stage I walked off with my microphone in hand.

"You did amazing today!" My manager complimented as I was sat back down into my styling chair where I noticed a bunch of camera people surrounding me.

"oh uh thanks? what's all this?" I questioned with a smile and my manager just looked at me as the cameraman recording handed me a golden envelope.

'You're invited!' the front of the envelope read as I sat my microphone in my lap.

"Oh?" I questioned as I opened it before taking out the card that was inside.

'Welcome! You've been chosen to air on our first season of Your Love in April! Since your name is April, We thought you'd be the perfect fit for our new dating reality show! We have your partner chosen already! If you decide to meet, please join us at the starlight cafe tomorrow at 7:00pm.'

"Oh? a dating reality show?" I questioned looking to the camera shocked before my eyes slowly glanced at my manager where she was giving me a 'you have no choice look.'

I guess that means I'll be going on a dating show.

~later that night~

Later on that night, I was at my apartment laying down in bed reading one of my favorite books.

'Ding Ding' My phone rang signaling I had a message. I picked up my cellphone and glanced at the contact, who texted me.

Isabella: April! your album drops in 10 minutes! Excited?

Isabella is my best friend I knew her before I even debuted, nobody can replace her.

April: Omg really? I didn't even realize it was that late!

Isabella: I'm going to stream yours and TxT's video all night!

TxT? Who's that? I went to my google and typed in the name.

A news article popped up showing off their high ranking on the music charts.

Woah! that's impressive all the songs on the album?!

I scrolled a bit more reading over the full article before deciding on going to the music video.

"Sugar Rush Ride." I mumbled to myself as I typed in the title going straight to the music video.

I watched it in silence completely amazed at the visuals and music I was witnessing.

This is the group I'm supposed to battle for first place with on music charts?!
