Since he grew up in a war he's used to fearing for his life every night, and with look out duties that switched out throughout the night, he barley got any sleep.
And now that they stopped the Krang it's still hard for him to sleep and to calm down at night.
He has nightmares frequently which wakes him up completely out of fear.
But sometimes he wakes up in the middle of the night just because. He's used to shift changes and trying to guard the old base that he was in.
After weeks he started getting better but not quickly.
