Waking up to the sound of pounding at your door, You get out of bed exhausted from the night before and drag yourself to the door. It's your best friend. You open the door rubbing your eyes, "Hey Hannah-" Your cut off. "Delilah have you seriously just woken up?" she responds questioning you. "Maybe?" you answer yawing. "Well, hurry up! get dressed! i have news!" She shrieks excitedly pulling you to your room.

You look at her in confusion because she's going through your wardrobe in a hurry. "Um are we going to a wedding what's going on?" You ask. She turns to you with a huge smile on her face. "i bought tickets to Metallica." Your jaw drops. "METALLICA?!" She quickly covers your mouth and whispers "Delilah you need to control your excitement, your windows are open people might think your crazy." You pull her hand off. "Hannah are you joking? Metallica tickets?!" You start jumping whilst Hannah stands amused. She nods saying "Yes! now hurry up it's today!"

Quickly pushing her out of your room ecstatic she shouts "Hey! Be careful! i'm fragile." She says laughing. Whilst Hannah waits for you you tear your wardrobe apart trying to find an outfit. And you show a smile once you find it. You found a Metallica shirt that fits perfectly, it goes well with a pair of black jeans. in addition to jewellery and makeup. Opening the door ready Hannah looks at you with a smirk. "Ooo are we impressing Mr Kirk Hammett?" Laughing you say "Shut up!" Hitting her playfully. "You know he's going to be distracted because of you, look at you! you're stunning!"

Lifting an eyebrow you say "And you? are you forgetting that you're going to do the same to James? He's going to be drooling!" You smile at her, Hannah looks at the clock with her eyes widened. "COME ON IT STARTS SOON" Rushing out the door you finally make it. Everyone is rushing to get to the front. Luckily you managed to get to the front along with everyone else. Taking a peak at Hannah you noticed she looks nervous. "Hey you okay?" you ask worried. "Are you kidding? we're about to witness Metallica play in front of us and your asking if i'm okay?" She says.

You shrug. "True" you say laughing. And sooner or later It felt like the world stopped as you heard the first song play. For Whom The Bell Tolls starts and everyone is screaming their lungs out. Jumping to the music you see Kirk getting on stage along with the rest of the band and all you could focus on in that moment was him. Just watching him strum the guitar gave you goosebumps. Startled you felt Hannah nudge you smirking "In awe?" You nod in disbelief. Just as you turn around you felt Kirk's gaze and see him staring at you.

Looking away embarrassed you notice him giggle. Thinking to yourself you say "Kirk Hammett just looked at me." You pinch yourself incase you were dreaming and look up again. This time Kirk was closer to you. Just at the edge of the stage he hands you a guitar pick showing a wink. Your jaw falls to the floor as you turn to Hannah on the verge of tears. Hannah jumps in excitement for you "OH MY GOD DELILAH!" Covering your mouth you look up at the stage once again.

The concert is coming to an end and Metallica are handing out guitar picks and drum sticks. Kirk is handing his guitar picks out just on the opposite side from where you are. And somehow in a split second he turns out to be right in front of your face holding your hand. Offering a smile Kirk hands you a note. But why? He leans in to your ear and says "You were the only thing i could look at today. Meet me backstage?" Your face flushes red in a matter of seconds and he lets go of your hand slowly walking away.

Everyone at that point is leaving so you decide to find Kirk backstage. But quickly telling Hannah every single detail she tells you. "Go girl! Go get your man!" You laugh walking away. At that point everybody is leaving so you figured this is your chance, And trying to find your way you bump into somebody..
