Prologue

My parents send me to a correctional facility, it's something like school but more intense.

I'm scared some girls were saying that they will slit my throat open, I can't even sleep from how scared I am.

I don't have any friends here so I'm all alone, I have to take care of my self and be careful.

I'm only eight and I set my house on fire, but don't get me wrong, it was accident, I leaved the candle on a wooden table, maybe Jax dropped it.

Jax is my cat, he is a little grumpy but he's fluffy so I'm not complayning.

I'm in my room, looking trough photos of my family, the doors flew open, and I quickly looked up, and there she was.

My bully.

She has been bullying me since I got here, every single kid in here is scared that if they helped me she will bully them aswell.

"Who do we have here, our poor girl from the city" she laughed sarcastically.

She took a photo of my family from me and started laughing.

"What's so funny Angela?" I said angrily.

"I'm not surprised they left you here, I wouldn't want you either" she tore up my photo without hesitation.

She threw the torn pieces at me and I dropped to my knees and started picking up the little pieces.

Just when Angela wanted to leave, someone pushed her back into the room and closed the door, I didn't look up, I was too scared.

"So what was so funny Angela? I would also like to have fun" said the other person inhumanly calmly.

And then I realized who the voice was, Althea, my best friend who I met here and also the only one who is not afraid of Angela, on the contrary Angela is terrified of Al.

"I was just joking" Angela said uncertainly.

"Hmm... Go joke somewhere else and don't come back... or I'll cut your tongue out and have it for dinner" Al said calmly.

Damn she is only ten and she's talking like this.

Angela run out of the room, like a scared puppy, Al walked towards me and got on her knees.

"Don't cry my little dove" She said trying to comfort me.

"I just wanna go home" I cried "I know" she whispered "And you will" she said as she got up and leaved my room.

...

"Hey" I heard a faint voice from the door "Wake up idiot" Angela whispered and I quickly stood up.

"Don't be scared, we have to go" she said and walk out of the room, I ran after her, catching up with her I didn't know what was happening.

"What's happening?" I asked in low tone and she looked at me "We are getting you out" she said.

As we were walking down the black hall I got more scared from what we means, who is coming whit us, we climbed out the window and jumped down in the river.

This school is in the woods, nothing is closer then the city that's 10 miles away, Al was teaching me how to survive and she also gives me a map of the way in the city, she was runing out pretty often so she knows the way.

We were in the midle of the dark forest, and then Al walks out of the bush with a bag in her hands.

"You're coming with me right?" I said and she smiled noding her head slightly.

She put the bag on my back and then reached in her pocket she pulled out a necklace.

"Put this on, if something goes wrong I will find you, okay?" I noded and put the necklace on.

We started to walk but then I saw a flashlights and hear a voices, we hide but then Al took my hand and start to run.

We were at the main road, i looked at her confused.

"This way, you will go this way, it will get you in city" She huged me.

"You have money in the bag and things you will need, find your brother" she said holding my cheeks.

"W-what about you?" I asked trying to hold my tears in.

"I will be okay, you hear me, I will be fine" she said.

"N-no" I cried huging her again.

She pulled away and cuped my cheeks "I will always find you" she whispered "Run" she said and I run in the woods.

When I was far away I turned around to look what was happening, but when I saw someone on thier knees I stoped runing, Althea, a loud soud of gun cloud be heard from the distance, I took a few steps closer when the body droped to the ground I cloudn't help it tears were leaking out of my eyes.

I turned around and quickly runed away.

She's gone.

I watched my little dove run as I hear gun shots and voices behind me, she wouldn't make it if  I was with her.

"Althea get on your knees" the guard yelled at me angrily.

And I did I got on my knees, he stood behind me when I moved and kicked his foot so he fell back, droping his gun I quickly picked it up and aimed at him.

"Get on your knees!" I said calmly, he looked at me with smile "Ada will like you" he said.

As he got on his knees I pulled the safety off, I looked in his eyes I smiled and pulled the triger, watching blood pool out of the hole between his eyes.

A clapping and an unfamiliar voice meda me turn around, it was women standing infront of me smiling.

"Oh Althea I'm glad you're okay" she said kindly "Who are you?" I snapped.

"Ada" she said and I looked at the daed body "Yeah don't worry, we will take care of it" I looked back at her.

"I knew you were special, and that little girl.. Nova, yes that's her name" she said and I aimed at her.

"Calm down I have an deal for you" She said, but I didn't lower the gun.

"Talk" I barked "You will be my soldier and I will forget about little Nova" she explained.

"Fine" I need her to be safe and live her life.

"Give me the gun and come with me" she said and I lowered the gun, throwing it on the ground I took her hand as she begin to lead me to the black car.
