It was Morning when Roon along with the others leave the base headed towards the Philippine Sea to intercept Sakura Empire and potentially Ironblood forces from Taking Philippines.

But although there were some shipgirls standby on Philippines they were in Manila and are focused on getting the repairs done and defenses to be completed.

So it was up to Roon who was leading the fleet who only has little to know leading a fleet but she was fine with it.

But on the other hand Sakura Empire was currently sailing in bad weather which will be disadvantageous to them so they quickly move out of the range which brought more time for Roon to intercept them.

Currently Hornet along with Washington are trying to find where the Sakura Empire Fleet is currently with their radar.

2 Hours Later.

Hornet and Washington managed to find the Sakura Empire Fleet which was led by Shinano.

They chose to wait for the others to arrive so they could engage them but soon enough they were spotted by Shinano who immediately rushed to their location.

Hornet and Washington were able to outrun Shinano but still they were being followed.

So Roon personally confront Shinano as to cover Hornet and Washington.

Shinano seeing her Opponent immediately readied to engage her.

As they both got closer Shinano immediately attacks quickly but it was block by Roon Burial Blade.

After that Roon immediately takes the chance to strike at Shinano but yet again it was deflected and Shinano makes a distance to avoid getting strike again

Roon: You are good with the sword.

Shinano: Of Course I am same goes to you.

Roon: Oh Please, It's because I hunt beast that I am proficient in the use of sword.

Shinano: Well then should we continue!!

Shinano immediately appeared in front of Roon but Roon expected it and block the incoming attack.

After Blocking it Roon attacks Shinano in a quick manner that Shinano could barely keep up.

Shinano finally managed to make enough distance but Roon immediately closed the distance and use her Burial Blade Scythe to reach Shinano which was avoided luckily.

After seeing that Shinano closed the distance to try and hit Roon..

Meanwhile the other ships arrive and immediately started fighting while some try to help Shinano and Roon they were too distracted so they couldn't help at all.

As Both Shinano and Roon Keep Fighting  Nagato was Watching them duel it out with Interest.

Although Nagato could not engage which she was a bit too eager to do she nevertheless would accept defeat if Roon  managed to defeat Shinano.

But She was a bit curious what happened to Roon who is literally a bit different in the past.

Back in the fight Roon managed to break  Shinano Katana and immediately got her Burial Blade to Shinano neck but she didn't kill her.

Roon: You Lost, Surrender now.

Shinano: Hahaha haven't had a good fight its a shame it will end

Roon: You like fighting huh? Does this goes the same with your faction.

Shinano: You could say that, I will inform Nagato of our surrender.

After that battle both sides stop their hostilities and withdraw back to their base.

Roon the one who was leading the fleet managed to defeat Shinano who was unbeatable for quite a long time and her only lost that she suffered was from Yorktown.

While Azurlane Celebrated this Victory Illustrious who was still trying to get the queen to agree on her marriage decided to take matters on her own hands.

By making a deal with the sirens.
