Paul Dedrick Gray was born April 8th 1972 in Los Angeles California.. He was the bass player and one of the founding members of the band Slipknot... Just like all the other members, Paul had a number, mask, and nickname.. Paul was number 2, and he was known as "the pig". As well as being the bass player, he also wrote/co wrote the majority of Slipknot's songs up u til he passed away on May 24th 2010 (my birthday) from a drug overdose at the age of 38. His widow, Brenna Gray, went to court with Paul's doctor to sue him for basically murdering her husband with a suspected secret dosage increase, which led to the overdose, due to the medication being stronger than it was meant to be... On May 24th 2015, it will be the 5 year anniversary of his passing.. it's also when I turn 16, in his honor, I'm learning to play some Slipknot songs on my bass guitar..
