My bestie's DnD backstory

Backstory

    Taya Greenfield is a young goblin woman from a mountainous northern region is 17 yrs old and as of current lives with her grandmother.
    To put it into simple words, she had a for the most part completely normal childhood; two parents who cared for her, a younger brother and sister who she gets along with, grandparents she would see on a consistent basis, decent grades, and she's just over all a good person and student.
     When she was 15 she lost her grandfather who she had a very close relationship with, he was the one who gave her her green thumb and got her to begin gardening and caring more about the natural world. His death prompted her to move in with her grandmother who lived in a neighboring city because her grandmother didn't like being alone and was grieving her long time husband.
     Taya of course missed her old friends from her home town but to her she was willing to do anything so her family felt safe. She's still close with her parents and siblings via frequent calls from her grandmother's landline or meeting up at places to talk.
     When she turned 15 she began smoking marijuana and cigarettes recreationally or if she felt stressed for whatever reason. She from day one vowed to never smoke or even have it exposed around her family as they felt uncomfortable around drugs and she was worried they may think of her differently but she doesn't care who sees as long as it's not her family.
