      [Grian POV]

I was sassy to everyone in general, but with this new student, Scar, I was extremely sassy. The first time I met him I had mixed feelings about him, so I chose to be his 'enemy' if you would phrase it like that. It was not like I would get into fist fights with him, but more like I would ignore him and throw these comments about him. Scar was a bit more polite if im honest. He would compliment me, that's the main reason I was mean to him, I've never felt these feeling and that's why I'm trying to ignore them.

I rolled my eyes as I saw Scar in the school hallways, it was 7:55 am and I was waiting for class to start, of course it was math today, the same class Scar is in.

A few moments later Scar was right next to me.
He leaned his side in my locker with one hand in his pocket and the other resting down.
"Hello Grain."

I crossed my eyes and looked disappointingly up at him.
"What do you want? And my name is not Grain! Your stupid."

"Oh Grian.." He had this look on his face, i don't know what it was but I was curious. Before I could study it enough he continued to talk. "Who would even name their child Grian? It's kinda a weird name isn't it?"

I rolled my eyes, "Are you seriously making fun of my name? Think about your name for a second, Scar, did you have a big scar on your face when you were born, or?"

Before he could say anything else the bell rang, a quick realization kicked in.

"Oh shit, we're late to class" Without thinking I grabbed Scars hand and ran to class, I already had bad reputation so if I came late a few more times I would probably get kicked out off school or something. We reached our class and ran into the classroom to see some quite surprised students and a even more surprised-looking teacher with a slight anger coming trough. Sooner enough I could hear some giggling from my classmates and I realized I was still holding Scars hand, i quickly pulled my hand to myself and felt slight blush form on my face.

"Grian! Scar! Your late to class once again! Detention right now, or else!" I took a desperate glance at my buddy, Iskall, to see if he could get me outta this mess but instead he was muttering the words, "Grian and Scar sitting in a tree, K-I-S-S-I-N-G" mocking me to the other ones around him making them break a laugh together. That stupid idiot.

"Okay mrs Jane." I said politely as I opened the door behind me with Scar following after me. I knew this would happen but with Scar in the same room it would be straight up hell. We arrived in the detention room and I sat myself up on one of the desks.

"..So what do we do now?" I asked him quite surprised with myself for not throwing any mean comments in the sentence.

"I don't know, do you have your phone on you?" That was kinda a dumb question, what would we even do on my phone?

"Yeah, why do you need it?"

"Uhm, no reason really, just wondered." I felt like he was hiding something, I don't know what tho. "..I think I saw some blush on your face when they caught you holding my hand, are you embarrassed around me?"

I quickly looked up at him seeing a smirk on his face, "I didn't blush!"

He laughed "So what was the bright red shade on your face then?"

"..it was nothing!" ... "you sure babe?" He teased, BABE? Where did this come from?!? I immediately looked down at my lap, was i blushing again? God! Im supposed to hate this guy, not blush at his flirty comments. And why was he calling me BABE????
