Those three days quickly passed, and I was off to Alabama from Tennessee. I had clothes, a sleeping bag, and a tent. For entertainment, I had my phone and to charge it i had my charger.
About an hour later we stopped at Mcdonalds to eat and use the restroom. I got a large fry and a drink.
We kept driving for a while until we found a nice hotel called Double Tree. We got connecting rooms, and I got my own room. The next day, we ate at a Waffle House somewhere.
"Mom, where are we going?" I asked.
"We are going to Abbeville," my mom said, looking at her phone.
"There is a nice campsite there that your aunt nicely gave to us this summer" my mom explained while still looking at her phone.
"Okay," I said tiredly
For the next hour I slept, played on my phone, and looked out the window. Soon I saw a sign that said 'You are now in Abbeville!"
"Mom, is the campsite close?"
"Here it is now!"
"You are now entering Bear Claw Campsites have a nice stay!"
I read looking at the sign. 'This is going to be a waste of time!' I thought, looking out the window with a sigh. And as if my mom read my mind she said
"if will be fun Emily"
"Are you sure, mom?"I said
"I promise" she said
A little while later, we finally got two tents up; a huge one for Mom and Dad, and one slightly smaller one for me.
(This is the end of Chapter Two. This is an abrupt ending, I understand but you will know why. I didn't want to continue it, or this chapter might have been a little long compared to the last chapter.)
