last game// chapter 18

i woke up early they next morning, after all i had slept like the whole day yesterday, i checked my phone 8:45 am, that was very early for me. i took a quick body only shower and changed into the Spain jersey, i did my hair and makeup and still Gavi and Ansu were still not awake. i laid down next to Gavi, waiting to see if he would wake up on his own or if i would have to wake him up. After like 5 minutes i shook Gavi awake "Hey, Gavi" i said Gently shaking him "hm, five more minutes" he groaned rolling over."its 9:30, you will be late if you don't get up now." i said shaking his shoulder aggressively "okay, okay I'm up" he said  sitting up stretching "you need to be out of the hotel in less than an hour" i said getting out of the bed "okay, nice jersey" he said as he got out of the bed "thank you" i said sarcastically "Ansu get up we are going to be late" Gavi said loudly waking up Ansu "okay just give me 5 minutes" he groaned flipping on his stomach "i you guys are late it's on you" i said looking into the full body mirror fixing m shirt "okay, fine im up" Ansu said getting up from off the couch "you guys have practice before the game in like 30 minutes so hurry up" i said as i got Gavis jersey out of his suitcase throwing it at his "why did you wake us up so late" Gavi said jokingly catching the jersey, i playfully rolled my eyes and tossed Ansu his jersey "I'll meet you guys in the lobby for a quick breakfast" i said placing a kiss on Gavis cheek before leaving.

i made my way down to the hotels breakfast Buffey, i got a quick healthy breakfast for the guys to eat before practice. after i got their food i went to the main lobby and waited for Gavi and Ansu to finish getting ready, i waited in the lobby drinking my coffee and scrolling through Instagram, soon the guys came down ready for practice "here" i said handing them each a breakfast burrito "thanks" they both said in unison "okay let's go" i said getting up from the couch making my way out of the hotel.

we got a taxi and made our way to the stadium. when we got there i told them good luck and went up to my seat with Victoria and Sira. 

"Your late" Sira said as i sat down next to her.

"I know, I'm sorry. The guys took a bit longer to get ready" I said as I took a sip of my coffee. "But they're here now" I added, looking out onto the field where the players were warming up. "Is it just me or is there something off today?" victoria said making the think about it "yeah your right" Sira responded, i nodded in agreement, they energy was off, and the guys seemed to not have the energy they always did but we just hoped that we were wrong.

after a bit of warm up practice the game started, and they did seem off they indeed seemed off and it stressed everyone out. and it seemed to stay that way for the whole game. the game ended 3-0 and everyone was bummed out, that was the teams last game for the world cup.

"Wow, so that's it" Sira said putting her head down in her hands "yeah i guess" i said as i got up from my seat "so it's our last days here too" victoria said following me up "this is going to me a rough night" sira said getting up making her way down the stairs.

we made our way down to the locker rooms, this was going to be a long rest of our day.

as we made our way you could hear upset voices coming from the room, i knocked on the door of the locker room "can we come in, its y/n, sira and victoria" i yelled from my side of the door, upset muffled "si "'s filled the other side of the room. 

we walked in and everyone seemed bumed from the loss. i walked up to Gavi and hugged him "hey" i said softly rubbing his back "hi" he replied his voice defeated. "How are you feeling?" i asked him, hugging him tighter "alright" he shrugged slightly pushing me away. "Oh okay, well ill meet you back at the hotel" i said pulling away from the hug making my way out of the room with victoria and sira following behind me.

"Why do they always get mad at us when they lose" sira said opening the door to the taxi. 

"i don't know but it's very annoying" i said getting in "yeah, it's very annoying" Victoria added as she took a seat next to me.
