“Ahm, Miss LA.”
“Yes, sir?”
“Can i ask you?”
“Of course, sir.”
“Who is our top investor?”
“It's Mr. Ignatius that invest on us the most, sir. He invest in every project of us a million po.”
“Oh? Noted of that, nga pala, who is the longest employee that worked here?”
“Ah, it's Mrs. Santos po, our main accountant.”
“Oh, how old is she?”
“She just turn seventy, sir. And she started here when she was still thirty. But i think, next week, she'll retired herself, and will tries to open a small restaurant with the money she saves from what she earns here.”
“Oh? Wow, how about you?”
“Me, sir?”
“Yes, how long have you worked here?”
“I started here when i was still sixteenth, at first, ny job is to buy coffee or snacks of workers here. Then, when i turn, eighteen, i started to do the job of cleaning here, then when i turn twenty, i was assigned to be our accountant's assistant. Mrs. Santos is the only one that kind at me here, before. Then, when i turn, twenty two, i was assigned to be your dad's secretary, i'm a high school graduate sir. And i worked here for ten years already, sir.”
“Wow, mabuti pa kayo, loyal. Stick to one, alam mo ba? One of my cousin? Ay, no, all of my cousin, mga babaero! Playboy ang putcha.”
Napangiti na lang ako sa sinabi niya, i didn't expect him to be this approachable. Akala ko masungit na bugnutin siya.
“Oh? Then, what about you, sir?”
“ i don't know, but, ano kasi, i never have a fling, girlfriends, lalo naman nang girl besties, hanggang crush lang ako. Kapag kasi cinrushback nila ako nawawalan na ko ng gana sa kanila.”
“Same, sir, kasi diba? Parang wala ng thrill!”
“Ayan! That's true, mare, haha.”
Sabay kaming tumawa ng magkasundo kami.
“At siyaka, may friends are used of girls, eh.”
“Ahm, kaya naman pala.”
“Yeah, did you graduate with honors?”
“With high honors, my average is ninety five when i graduate pero hindi po keri nila mama na ipacollege ako, eh. Siyaka, ayaw ko din.”
He nodded when he hears my story. Interasadong interesado sir, ah.
“You do boyfriends?”
“Kung yummy at gwapo.”
“Oh? Ilan na ex mo mare?”
“Thirteen, some are kinds, some are playboys, and some are cheaters.”
“Emz. Buti wala ka pang trust issue.”
“Mabuti nga, sir, eh.”
Sabay ulit kaming tumawa.
“What about you, sir?”
“I don't do girlfriends, mare.”
“Ayy, bakit po?”
“Ewan, i just don't feel to, kasi ano, gusto ko kasi mare kapag ganon. Diretso kasalan wala nang takasan.”
