On Tuesday morning Vivian and Madilynn wake up at eight in the morning so that they can eat breakfast before Madilynn drives up to visit her parents. The drive is an hour and a half long, so she has to leave at ten o' clock so she can make it in time for the fancy lunch her parents planned. Kai is picking Vivian up for their date at ten as well and he told her to eat beforehand.

On Sunday she stayed at his place until 3 pm, cuddling and talking in his bed for most of the day before he made her lunch and drove her back to her apartment and picking up a severely hungover Miles up. For the rest of that day Madilynn, Cosette, Sage and Vivian stayed home and watched movies together and had a little dinner and some cake for Madilynn's and Vivian's birthdays. Of course, before any movie was turned on Vivian was forced to tell them all what exactly had happened over the past few nights. She told them the main points but left all the little details to herself, like the way his touch sent chills through her body and how his lips were incredibly soft yet set her on fire each time he touched them to hers.

Yesterday, Madilynn and Vivian went shopping all over town, restocking half of Vivian's wardrobe. Madilynn had to buy a new suitcase for her clothes so that she could take it all back to New Mexico. They had lunch at Madilynn's favorite lunch spot and went to dinner at Vivian's later in the day. When they got home, Cosette and Sage joined them for a game night, where they all stayed up until midnight playing Monopoly since Cosette didn't have to go to work on Monday nights. Sage won.

Vivian was excited for the day, though she had no clue what to expect. Kai had refused to tell her where they were going or what they were doing. She had tried asking Miles to tell her if Kai said anything to him, but Miles swore that Kai wouldn't say a word. This made it all the more exciting.

"Maybe you'll go to the movies?" Madilynn suggests, trying to help her think of ideas of what her day was going to look like. They were sitting at the dining table with half eaten waffles in front of them. "Or he'll just take you back to his place and you'll 'watch a movie' but in reality you'll just have it on in the background while you-"

"Mads, come on," Vivian interrupts her friend with a sigh. "I told you, I don't want to have sex with him quite yet. It took us ten years to even kiss. I want to wait a bit before we jump right into that. I want us to get to know each other again, it's been so long. I know I'm a different person than I was when I knew him before, and from what I can see he's different too. Please stop suggesting that we have sex right away."

"Okay, okay." Mads pops a piece of waffle in her mouth and chews it silently. They finish their breakfast and go back to Vivian's room to get ready. Since Kai wouldn't tell her where they were going, she had no clue what to wear.

In the end, she opted to wear a rustic orange dress that looked almost brown. The sleeves were long and puffy but cinched at her wrists. The neckline was a V shape and a bow wrapped around her waist to the side. The skirt was flowy and reached her midthigh. She paired it with black combat boots and put on some jewelry to finish the look.

Her hair flowed over her shoulders in perfect waves so she decided to leave it alone and move on to her makeup. She wanted to go light with her makeup again today, applying a bit of rustic orange and nude colored eyeshadow before adding some foundation and a nude lip gloss.

After spritzing herself with some perfume and grabbing her purse, she was ready to go. Madilynn followed Vivian out of the room, ready as well in black leggings and a white long sleeved sweater. She brought a sweatshirt to wear in the car and a small bag with some extra clothes and necessities since she was staying at her parents tonight.

Sage was at work already and Cosette was still sleeping. Vivian went to the kitchen to grab the stack of sticky notes and a pen out of their junk drawer. She writes a small note to Cosette, saying that she'd text her to let her know if she's coming home tonight or not and to have a good day at work. She puts the lid back on the pen and puts it and the rest of the sticky notes away before going to the door of Cosette's room. She opens it just a crack and sticks the note on the wall by the door before shutting it and walking back to Madilynn to help her carry her stuff down to the car. They walk downstairs and out to Vivian's car, placing everything in the backseat.
