8:17PM IN THE EVENING
the empty seats a while ago is now filled by people wearing glamorous peach dresses and wearing midnight black and blue suits while chatting with each other waiting for the event to start.
I patiently waiting for the event to start while I am the only one sitting on our table at the same time tapping my feet on the grounds. "it's past 8pm?".
"everyone, Good evening to all ladies and gentlemen here! we will start the event in 5minutes, thank you!". the host said.
I sigh. "where's Yuna?".
tumayo ako saaking upuan at pumasok, umakyat ako upang tignan si Yuna nung ako ay nasa harapan na ng pintoan hinawakan ko ang door knob ngunit naka lock ito. "it's lock?". kumatok ako kung merong bang tao. "Yuna? are you there?". tawag ko sakaniya.
"y-yes, love? I'm h-here!". she sounds nervous.
"hey, are you okay?".
narinig ko ang mga yapak ng kaniyang paa papunta sa pintoan. "yes, I'm okay!".
"the event will start in 5minutes, are you ready?". tanong ko sakaniya.
"yup! sabay akong baba kasama nila mommy!". masaya niyang tugon saakin.
"I can't wait to see you".
"me too!".
"I'll wait for you, love". huli kong sabi bago mag lakad paalis.
nung ako ay pababa ng hagdanan meron akong narinig na kumalabog sa kwarto kaya naman dali dali akong bumalik. "Yuna! what's going on?". pag aalalang tanong ko sakaniya.
"I'm okay love! nahulog ko lang yung blower ko!".
"be careful, okay?".
"yes, love! I will!".
bumaba nako at bumalik na sa upuan kung saan ako umupo.
"Good Evening! Ladies and Gentlemen's! Welcome to Gillian & Mariano Valencia Enchanted Apricot Garden 30th Anniversary! Tonight we will encounter the amazing, mesmerizing, and lovely couple who experienced so many difficulties in their lives despite of the struggles they faced they stand still together having each other's backs! manage to reach their 30th Anniversary today!".
"Tonight we will celebrate their strong relationship together! without further I do, let's call our amazing, mesmerizing, and lovely couple! Gillian & Mariano Valencia!".
lahat ng taong naka upo ay lahat nag sitayuan nung lumabas na ang mommy at daddy ni Yuna tumayo nako saaking upuan at nakipag sabayan sakanilang palakpakan.
lahat ng bisita ay nag sisipalakpakan na may ngiti sakanilang mga mukha ang mga magulang ni Yuna ay halos mapunit na ang kanilang mga bibig dahil sakanilang masayang ngiti.
"Thank you so much everyone!". naka ngiting pag papasalamat ni mom.
"thank you for coming in our 30th anniversary! you look wonderful! we will make sure you will enjoy this night!".
