'Ah..the mortal realm! Where fairies, mermaids and elves are.. obviously not real.'

The only real ones here are us Gods and Goddesses of course.

I am Cupid, God of Love the child of Mars and Venus. And of course if there is a match maker there is also the opposite.

Delara, a rival of mine, we've been fighting for as long as I remember. She could kill me if she wanted to but our God forbids. Both of us are needed in the mortal realm for everything to be balanced.

I haven't seen her in a while but there's traces of her doings around the world.

Both of our jobs are pretty simple, I make two people fall inlove- but uh..not instantly, i'd give them a spark and watch them do the rest. Delara on the other hand breaks couples if she thinks that they're not meant for each other.

That's one thing that we fight about alot, she breaks up a couple and I put them back together, it's not like that always. If I too think that they're not happy together then I let Delara do her job.

"Hey! What the hell do you think your doing??" Delara yelled after I put back together a couple.

"They still love each other Delara" I said facing her.

She grunts in frustration and pushed me "They are clearly not! I broke them up because THEY are not happy"

"I am the God of Love I know when two people still needs each other, you need to understand that. They just need time." I said, she looked very angered.

"And me? What do I do?? That's right. I break couples apart. That's what I do best, I know when they're not happy, why do you keep interfering with my job?!" She yelled.

And just when I was about to talk, she stormed off and never returned.

That was the last time I saw her, Even if she isn't visible in my eyes, she still does her job.

A meeting among us Gods are coming soon...I wonder how she is.. considering what happened in the past, I highly doubt that she forgave me.

'wait...I didn't eve apologize..'

Being an immortal God isn't what you think, even if you're a God there are still rules you have to follow.

One of them is to not have any relationship with any mortals, doing so can lead to harsh punishments.

I can honestly say that I get lonely sometimes and I wanted what the mortals have. A soulmate.

Hah..I need to get that out of my head, I need to only focus on my job and help maintain balance, if one falls everything goes with it.

"Delara look, the mortals are putting up a statue of me" I said pointing down to them. "They didn't get my face right but, I'll take what I can get"

She rolled her eyes and scoffed "And? It's just a statue get over it."

"You'll get a statue soon, we're equal soo if I get one you need to get one too" I said smiling at her.

"In their minds I am the bad guy, why would they make a statue of me?" She turned away and walked off.

I sighed and continued to watch the mortals.

She was jealous..As much as I wanted to I can't. I can't interact with the mortals, although..I can turn into one and talk with them but they wouldn't listen.

I wonder how she is right now....
