Thirdy thought when he realized Julia was in Japan.
He just shrugged. Oh well.
His phone vibrated.
It was a message from Julia.
J: Surprise! Guess where I am!
T: Oy Casal, as if naman hindi ka nagpost. Alam ko andito ka noh.
J: Sooo, what about dinner? Idate mo naman ako, ang lamig lamig dito.
T: Hard pass!
J: Ang sungit mo naman paran wala tayo pinagsamahan ah. Can I call?
T: No!
J: Why ba?
T: Look, I know we're friends and we can keep it at that. Ayoko na machismis at baka ano pa isipin ni Bea.
J: Bea? Jowa mo? Hahahaha
T: Shut up, J! Enjoy, Japan, busy ako.

Bea was in the Philippines.
Her phone vibrated. Facetime.
When she reached her phone, it was Julia.
She accepted the call.
J: Thirdy sungit!
B: Hahaha what happened?
J: He wouldn't take me anywhere hahaha.
B: Why daw?
J: Ayaw daw nya machismis, baka daw makarating sa'yo, kala mo jowa.
B: Haha baliw!
J: Seriously, Bea, I think it's time.
There was a deafening silence.
J: Bea?
No response.
J: Earth to Bea!
Julia shouted.
B: Uhh sorry, I just thought of something. What were you saying?
J: Tss. I said it's time.
B: I think I have an idea. Sige na, Juls, thanks for calling din.
J: I got you!

Days after, Bea messaged Thirdy. Thirdy excitedly pressed video for Facetime but Bea dropped it intentionally.
B: Bakit may tumatawag? Excited yern?
T: Why are you asking kasi where I am, you know where.
B: May game ka ba today?
T: Wala, I'm just dropping by the gym. maybe.
B: Paalis ka na?
T: Oo, medyo, why?
B: Sakto papunta din ako gym, sabay tayo. Dyan ka sa gym nyo, dito ako sa Pilipinas.
T: Hahahaha ano meron?
Thirdy wondered. It was a first.
B: Stop it, tara na mag gym na tayo!
T: Bakit parang nanginginig boses mo?
B: Huh? What are you saying? Tara na nga!
Bea was shaking . The cause? The weather and Thirdy's presence.
"What the...." Thirdy almost screaming.
"Damn you, ang tagal mo lumabas, ang lamiiiig!" Bea replied.
They were now face to face, Thirdy's grin was from ear to ear.
"Haha bakit kasi hindi nagsabing darating. Tara let's go inside."
"Kala ko you'll go to the gym?" Bea asked.
"Andito ka tapos gym. Akin na nga yang dala mo, may tsaa ako dito."
Bea went inside by Thirdy's invitation. She was ushered inside.
Thirdy prepared the tea and sat beside Bea.
"So, ano kwento? Malapit na season nyo buti naka alis ka pa?"
"Sandali lang naman ako dito eh. I just wanted to see my new boyfriend before my season starts kaya nagpunta ako agad dito." Bea can't look at Thirdy saying this but she was rubbing her chin trying to tease.
"Wait, what? new Boyfriend? Ahmm does that mean tayo na? I would assume kasi wala naman nanliligaw sayo na nasa Japan."
Bea giggled.
"Ayaw mo ba? Sabihin mo lang para makauwi na ako." She said as she attempted to stand up.
"Huy, ano ba naman yan, LQ agad." Thirdy said as she pulled Bea back to her seat. "I just wanted to be sure."
"Hay nako, Thirdy! Babalik na ako sa hotel ko! Mag gym ka na and I'll roam around here."
"I won't allow you to go out alone, kasama mo ako, simula ngayon, every step of the way."
And he gave her the sweetest kiss.
A new beginning starts as Bea decides to take the chance.
